We wish there was an enlarging makeup mirror in the bathroom, it would have come very handy.

I really liked the room, it was spacious and very clean, nice bathroom, looks like freshly renovated. I appreciated the parking that was just few steps away and the view was really nice. Garden in front of the restaurant was cosy and breakfast itself was quite nice. Overall I am very happy with this experience, pity we didn’t benefit from the jacuzzi on top of the hotel and pool because it was raining.

Fabulous hotel, perfectly located in Stresa. Fantastic reception staff - we made the booking at 8.30am, arrived at 9.30am the same day. We were able to park our car in the secure car park and when we asked reception if this was ok as we were early, they told us our room was ready immediately. Absolutely amazing, thank you. Breakfast in the restaurant was great and the roof terrace was beautiful. Will definitely return.

Staff were all great - very professional and friendly. Breakfast was varied and catered well for all diets Salt room in spa was very relaxing. Skye bar was a great spot too. Amazing views of the lake.

Expensive bar drinks and restaurant

Luxurious- super dark rooms - upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was generous with lots of options. It rained so we were disappointed to not use the pools and roof top bar.

Lovely hotel with great roof top bar and excellent views. The club pool overlooking the lake is a dream. Helpful staff. Nice walk into town. Loved our 4 night stay.

Great location and balcony view of Lago Maggiore. Delicious breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Аmazing Sky Bar on the rooftop with great views of the lake and islands. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking right across the street.

There was nothing to dislike.

Very comfortable hotel in excellent location close to the ferries, town centre, shops and restaurants. Everywhere was spotless and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide choice of food.

The system to lower the blinds in the room is very noisy. You can get woken up in the morning by a neighbouring room raising or lowering theirs.

Excellent location in Stress, walking distance to the town center, and right on the boardwalk. The view from the room was exceptional, with a clear sight on the Borromean islands. The hotel itself is new, clean and very comfortable. The spa and rooftop pools are an added bonus, with the same amazing view. All we could have asked for was better weather. The breakfast was plentiful, varied and very tasty. The hotel restaurant was also very good, among the better dining experiences we had in the region.

My only suggestion would be a coffee machine in the room. We ordered coffee in the bar and they brought it up to our room. Everything was so nice.

It was modern with great shower and heated towel rail. Overlooking the lake and a 5 minute walk to the ferry for the islands and 7 minutes to the square and lovely cocktail bars, Shops and restaurants. There was a large free car park belonging to the hotel. The breakfast was great and we had delicious club sandwich in the bar when we arrived. Bar was good and the restaurant was busy. Great atmosphere. I would definitely stay there again.

We were upgraded to a junior suite lakefront which was wonderful! The property is well located for exploring Stresa and the surrounding area. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was wonderful as well. The rooftop bar provides great views of the lake. The breakfast area overlooks the lake an a sculpted garden.

It wasn't particularly cheap but it was a very nice hotel in a prosperous and popular area, so it comes with the territory. Also, as mentioned, the weather meant the Sky Bar wasn't open, which was regretful for us but shouldn't dissuade other visitors.

Excellent hotel - very clean, comfortable, warming, great location, lovely facilities. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony, unfortunately it rained all weekend which inhibited our enjoyment of that and use of the Sky Bar but that couldn't be helped. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The downstairs bar and lobby area were lovely, full of splendor and the restaurant served excellent food. The hotel was located less than 5 minutes from Stresa train station and around 5 minutes from the centre of Stresa itself. If I was to stay in Stresa again, I'd be keen to Hotel La Palma.

Thanks very much to Leonardo at reception, we arrived at 05:00 in the morning. And he found us a room we booked for next day. Thanks to management, it were without extra charges. We very appreciate it. And on our leaving manager treated us with coffee on our way ! Very good mattress, it were very important for me. I slept well. Good location and wonderful views on breakfast!
