“This is very close to the airport (if you have a rental car) and is tucked away in a valley all by itself. We had room 7 facing the forest and we really enjoyed our stay. We found the owner to very friendly and we were able to have some good times there chatting with her. This is a simple husband and wife business and is not high end. The onsen is hot, which is great. There’s only about 10 cabins which is nice. It was very peaceful. We used this as a launch pad to other places and onsens in the kirishima area too.”
“This is a dream place! The house is newly renovated and refurbished with impeccable taste. There are two traditional rooms available, both spacious, clean and very quiet. The onsen water is available at the house and there’s a small bath outside to relax! The house is so clean and organised, and Yuki the host is just amazing. He provides you with anything you need, including laundry and towels. We spent two wonderful days there and felt fully recharged. Unfortunately the weather was really bad but Yuki recommended alternative places to visit! There are many beautiful onsen as well as izakayas on a walking distance! We will definitely go back to enjoy this unique environment once again!”
