  • Hotel Fuji Tatsugaoka Review score: 8.3

“Initially, this hotel seemed a little remote but we came to appreciate being away from the crowded Kawaguchiko. The view of Fuji from the room was a real bonus. Staff were very helpful; breakfast very good. Very grateful to the hotel for minding our luggage on the day of departure.”

  • “Amazing place to stay. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were really friendly as well. Last but not least, the view, WOW, it was amazing. We got the room with Mt Fuji view and it was spectacular.”

    “Service”

  • Highland Resort Hotel & Spa Review score: 8.7

“Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and well equipped with a great bathroom, including a full size bath. Worth paying extra for room with a view of Fuji as the view was insane. Wasn’t able to use the onsen due to being tattooed (was aware of this before), however had an amazing massage at the hotel spa instead for half the price it would be in the UK. Hotel restaurant food was great and staff were helpful and accommodating with dietary requirements (vegan with a peanut allergy). Good location, Lake Kawaguchiko 40 mins walk away, station/bus stop 15 mins walk away. 7/11 just around the corner.”

  • Megu Fuji 2021 Review score: 9.1

“Room size is bigger than expected. Close to station but buses are not frequent as expected. There is a share kitchen for guests to cook. The only thing is you need to walk far get the ingredients or get expensive ingredients from QTA in station.”

  • “Very friendly and helpful staff, nice view of Mt. Fuji from 5th floor. Everything you need for Onsen usage is provided, even slippers, a bag and Yukata. Onsen in the evening was very cozy.”

  • “It was perfect. The view, the rooms, the onsen - everything.”
