“The accommodation was only a few steps away from the cable car station, making it accessible. Not only is the outside reminiscent of the traditional ryokan imagery but the inside is also beautifully decorated and maintained by the host. Flowers are freshly placed, baths are timed for guests' use, and the host is always there to make sure your stay is as welcome as possible.”
“Beautiful place line from a Ghibli movie. Lovely owners and 2 funny dogs. My son was happy to play with them. If you come by car pls park on the big free parking Before entering Ikoma village. Then walk 3 min ( by stairs) to the Ryokan.”
“The location is beautiful. Even though it’s outside of the city, it’s easily accessible by train and then cable car. The location is perfect to enjoy some hikes, visiting the temples and the amusement park, and relax in peace. Plus, the view from up there (and from the rooms) is amazing!
The staff is also very nice and helpful. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, we managed to understand each other and they always made an effort to explain me stuff or to give me recommendations about what to visit.
The traditional Japanese breakfast was an experience on its own, I’m so happy I tried it.
The place cannot give you all the comforts of a hotel, but it doesn’t even aim to do that. Instead, it’s a place where you can learn about history and traditions and relax in compete peace!”
