“The hotel was fairly close to the station. We had to walk for only 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop. My room was spacious even though it had a single mattress on tatami floor. The facility had 24x7 hot water and the air conditioning kept me warm throughout my stay. The proprietors were super kind to drop us at the train station on a rainy day. Also, she dropped us at the ferry to Tashirojima island because we would’ve missed it if we had taken the bus!”

There was a great Japanese-style bath and even a massage chair in our room which we all enjoyed :)”
“This place is great! Even though it is very reasonable in price it has everything that you need and it's very clean. I like a tatami room like these better than a regular hotel room because the futon makes the room feel spacier. There's ample storage space in the cupboards and all expected amenities are provided. The shower is a large enough although for a large foreigner it might be a little cramped. The owner is amazing by the way, she's very friendly and easy to speak to and she made a great effort to use simpler japanese to match my basic speaking skills. She also looked up information for me about the ferry to Tashirojima. On the last day she even gave my a handwritten thank you note with a handmade onigiri and some sweets!”
