There is no public bath inside the building. You can either go to the nearby public bath or take the shower in the shared bathrooms on the second floor of the building.

The staff is friendly and helpful to answer all the questions you might have. The location is near the train stations, which is easy to take the public transportation. The common area is where you can meet and chat other travelers and share your stories with each others. You can also put your luggages into the safe place even after checking out.

Great location (3 minutes walking from the train & bus station), convenient for luggages before/after check in / check out. The rooms are really confortables, bathroom very clean, kitchen well equipped.. I really recommend this place + the staff is really kind 😍

Fantastic location next to train. Friendly staff and meticulous facility. Everything seemed super clean. I would advise to bring a towel since they don’t provide but they do rent them so that’s an option too. But very impressed with the location and the facilities.

There was nothing I was unhappy about. This was the same price per night as a hostel I stayed at in Osaka, and this place was FAR better. I'd recommend it to any solo traveler.

This is one of the most charming, cleanest, safest, and friendliest backpacking hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff was so helpful and obliging. The beds were clean and the storage secure. I stayed here on a whim after forgetting to plan one night's stay, and I'm so glad I did! I would visit again.

You don’t have a lot of privacy in the dorms but it was overall very good.

The property is very well located next to Aso mountain and Aso station. I arrived a little bit late accordingly to the check in and the hosts still waited for me.

Great place, well deserving of all the great ratings. You will feel like home (or better), a very nice and cozy atmosphere, splendid cleanliness and amazing hosts. They speak great english, too. The hostel is full with useful information for anyone traveling in and around Aso, and they even offer discount tickets for the onsen.

The owners are so kind. Everything is spotless. Cosy and very big common area with books, well equipped kitchen, terrace to sit outside, even a place to listen to music! In the dorms there is place under the beds to put your luggage.

it was a very quaint but spacious hostel with great and ample facilities. Easy luggage storage, not far from anywhere (train station, onsen, Lawson) staff were great too and so was the kitchen with complimentary spices, cooking oil and tea. even had a cheaper ticket to the (also exceptional) onsen

Japan is very safe but we would have liked more secure under cover storage for our bicycles.

As an older couple cycling through Japan, this hostel had everything we needed. An excellent self-catering kitchen and a private room with a Queen bed delivered us comfort for our visit to Mt Aso. The staff were particularly helpful and spoke good English which was an advantage to us. Less expensive than a hotel but with more amenity for us with the opportunity to converse with fellow travellers, this was the perfect place for us to stay.
