The in-hotel coin laundry was a bit dingy and the dryer made my towels reek. So only use that dryer for absolute emergencies and otherwise check out one of the coin laundries in the immediate area.

Great location near shimbashi station, from there it's very short distances to most Tokyo locations. Surrounded by izakayas and the historic new shimbashi building mall. Good authentic spot of Tokyo. Got a convenience store on the first floor. Staff are very friendly and helpful, even for japanese standards. Perfect for young solo or duo travellers. Probably less perfect for families because of the nature of some of the surrounding businesses. (Which on the flip side are a plus for people who enjoy drinking)

Locaction: Pretty close to the metro station! There's a coffee shop right outside of the hotel, and it turns into a bar at night. There's a convenience store on the first floor. Room: some dust near areas you might never touch except when you are looking for random places to put down your charger or phone. It's acceptable since it's not pricey anyway. Other main areas are clean, like the bed, toilet and the table. One thing to pay attention to: I had two pieces of luggage and the room is more suitable for solo travelers who have one medium-sized suitcase! I didn't really "dislike" this point. So I didn't put this under "What didn't you like" in my review.

Single room was perfect, but the twin room was not so spacious compared to the single room.

Single room was good. Bed was very good. Quiet room. Airco was good. Room was clean. Location was excellent. Enough restaurants in the neighborhood. Trainstation nearby. Friendly staff. Supermarket on the ground floor.

With the bug, however they are really willing help to check the luggage together and help to switch another room.

It’s with the Tokyo Tower scene room. The room design is graceful.

The check in process was a bit difficult as we don't have a credit card which is required for automatic checkin. The staff sorted really quickly though.

The Shimbashi area is actually very messy. There are a lot of homeless on your way from the station to the property, and trash on the roads.

Near the Shimbashi Station. The surroundings are very flourishing. Very convenient. You can have a good view of the Tokyo Tower in the property.

1. This 16-story hotel had only one washer-dryer for guests’ use 2. The glass door in the bathroom. More amusing than anything else, but why?

It was basically pretty good, only two things: - I don’t know if it’s tradition or something like that but to every breakfast you get hot soup. I found that kinda weird because I’ve never seen something like that before, but it tasted nice, I tried it. - when they’re cleaning the room, they clean it completely and also put the things exactly back how it was before when you arrived (like the bed, toilet paper, etc. And that was for me a little Problem since I put my bag light under the bed, and after they cleaned under the bed, they put the bed on my bag, so I had to roll the bed away to her my bah out…. But yes, they really cleaned the whole room, and that’s very good. And before I forget… I couldn’t rate the staff, since I’ve barely seen them… Check-in and Check-out at a machine… I only saw them at breakfast, but there they’re excellent. Courteous and helpful

The hotel was well placed, only a few minutes of the metro station with very good connections. And only a minute away there was also a convenience store. And the hotel was also very good, two elevators, never had a problem with them, clean hallways and vending machines inside for drink if you don’t wanna go outside.

Cons: mold in the ceiling, busy area that can get rowdy, and small room. Not for longer stays.

Pros: nice staff, affordable, adjacent convenience store, view of Tokyo Tower from room, complimentary toiletries, proximity to public transit and food options, comfortable bed, and bidet.

the front desk don't really serve check in and checkout. they use automated machines where you scan and copy your own passport and do the checkin process. it can feel slightly less welcoming. Location while convenient, is amidst many izakayas and bars, and some sleazy businesses.

1) convenient to the shimbashi train stations. if you're coming from Haneda airport, this is a good location because it's only 1 stop away from Hamamatsu cho station. 2) quite affordable. 3) There's a Combini right below. 4) Clean hotel and comfortable though the rooms are small.
