Free shuttle bus to and fro the town center. Room is spacious and clean. The relatively rural and tranquil atmosphere made this stay relaxing and enjoyable. Wide spread at breakfast and many amenities available at the hotel itself.

Great place with comfortable rooms.Onsen is perfect that you have to try it but this hotel’s front desk’s staffs are cold welcoming with poor English! Foreigners should choose this hotel carefully due to their front desk service.Asking for invoices when checking out and they can’t offer it.

Bed quilt slippery without a cover, only a sheet, awkward to sleep.

The tower I stayed in was quite old and the walls were paper thin. You could hear everything going on outside in the hallway. It would be nice if the resort could update the interior of the rooms, especially the bathroom, but at the same time, the facility seems to embody the old bubble-era glory of Japan, which has unfortuantely faded along with the facility. More importantly, the staff should inform customers (especially foreign tourists) about the rules of using the Therme Therme pool/special onsen sauna facility. Once you pay the extra fee, you can use the facility as many times as you want throughout the day (from 11AM-8PM). This was not conveyed to us by the staff when we purchased the ticket so I ended up using the onsen only once that day, which was disappointing since I paid extra only to use the special onsen.

Shuttle bus to town center runs every 30 mins, which is very convenient when the weather is too cold to walk outside (bus ride is 5 mins whereras walking would take about 20 mins). Buffet breakfast and dinner are great with fresh sushi, meat, fruit and vegetables. There are also many on site play activities that families can engage in, such as a game center and a bowling alley. There is extra charge to use the Therme Therme pool facility and special onsen sauna, which you pay half price if you stay at the resort. Also, there is a display of a Spirited Away drawing signed by the animator Miyazaki Hayao himself, who visited the faciltity in the early 2000s, which was a pleasant surprise.

I booked a log house bungalow which is a entirely fresh experience from the usual hotel room. My wife and I felt like vacationing in our own holiday home with the cozy and home feeling. Everyone with own car should try it.

Onsen is good. Even though it is so crowded. My room in wing building is so big and not far from either restaurant or onsen. Free shuttle bus to bus station and yubatake.

The toilet on the room can be cleaner and the house keeping can be better and more details when cleaning.

The location is very far from the main places. The hotel is very old and you can feel it both in the rooms and in the entire hotel. Old equipment, some of which does not work and carpets that are not completely clean.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The onsen was very nice. The breakfast was rich and good.

The room were aged and the beds much needed an upgrade.

Their onsen polls were amongst the best I've experienced in Japan. Atmosphere of the hotel was cordial and relaxed. Shutter bus services to Kasutsu station and/or Yubatake were frequent and efficient.

The quality of the meals was not quite worth the price at the buffet in my opinion (attended for breakfast and dinner). Also the onsen was relatively small and you have to pay to use the pool even as a hotel guest.
