The breakfast was a bit dissapointting. I look for oatmeal which most healthy people take but couldn't find and asked for it the waitress said ok will bring to table 15 mins went by nothing I asked again to check and he brought Hot milk

Room was a bit small and despite my Gold Elite member there was just "upgraded" to higher floors.. Breakfast was simple not much choice . We had dinner at the French restaurant and it was very good. Location required car transportation to m out places

The soundproofing between adjoining rooms is terrible, if you get an adjoining room you will hear your neighbours. They did change our room to a non adjoining room which mitigated the problem and were very apologetic. The Italian restaurant is very average yet expensive for Japan, my soup was served tepid. We were told the restaurant was busy until 8.30pm and we couldn’t eat earlier yet when we arrived there were very few tables. We were then told we only had 1h before they stopped serving. In the end there were several tables still not finished as the food took a while to come, they were very apologetic about this. I don’t think the additional charge to use the spa is fair, even though it is not much, it should be included for hotel guests (from memory it’s around 1000 yen). There is a rule that you must use the spa naked,I know it is customary in Japan, however the hotel accommodates people from a variety of cultures and countries, if somebody should wish to choose to cover with a swimming costume in the spa this shouldn’t be an issue.

The decor is lovely, the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The spa is nice, the breakfast in the room is a nice option. The staff are friendly We enjoyed the piano bar in the evenings We went to the Japanese restaurant which has a Michelin star, I have severe allergies to some fish and the chef was very friendly and accommodating with my dietary requirements which I appreciated and the food was tasty.

The Chinese restaurant has wonderful menu and service. And they even deliver room service after the working hour. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the hotel all is in old European style which was quite glamorous.

This is an extremely elegant yet friendly hotel. The Chinese restaurant was really great! The staff is absolutely lovely. We would definitely stay here again. Should we come back to Osaka?

Nothing really. But perhaps you need more facilities for toasting bread at the breakfast buffet, as there was usually a queue and one had to wait a bit for the toast.

Classy hotel, with well trained, professional and polite staff. Concierge desk was very helpful in making reservations for a jazz club We had a corner suite with a fantastic view of the city and harbour. Spacious, well-appointed rooms, large bahroom, ample closet space. Located next to (and directly linked with) Herbis Plaza with plenty of interesting restaurants in the basement. The underground link also connects the hotel with Osaka station.

I booked the room through Bookings.com. When we checked in we were not allowed to collect Marriot Points (my husband is a loyal long time member of Marriot. I put the booking in my name without thinking about points. He paid for the room with his credit card. Very disappointed. Other than that our stay was stellar!
