Location is a walking distance to the historical centre (10-15mins) and about 25-30mins to the casinos, however the hotel itself is situated in a quite unpleasant area with lots of construction. Very hard to get a taxi, so have to walk everywhere. The view from the room is of the black mold walls of old buildings in front. No restaurant in the hotel, however there is a supermarket in the same building. It’s popular with some Filipino guest who seem to squeeze 8-10 people in the same room. The look of the place is really old and dated. Due to these issues we checked out of the hotel a day earlier and moved to a more enjoyable and modern place.

The hotel will take a deposit for 200MOP when you check in. This is not informed in the description but a normal practice. I suggest strongly documenting all parts of the room when you check in. One day, we drank a coffee in the morning and brought our glass to the lobby, just to enjoy and plan our trip. We then left the glass at the lobby on the table. Luckily, I took a photo of a friend of mine at that time. Once we checked out, the staff accused us that we broke the glass. The situation happened on Dec. 27, 2023. I asked him based on what reason he accused me that I broke the glass. He did not have any evidence nor found any broken glass in the room. Then I showed him the unplanned picture as proof that I left the glass on the lobby. He did not even say sorry or anything. He kept saying that it was the information from the cleaning lady. Anyhow, he must have proof before accused me/us. The management needs urgently to tidy up his behaviour!

The location is nice. The bus station is directly across from the hotel.

We booked non-smoking rooms. But our rooms, both of them were full of cigarettes smells. We had to buy deodorant sprey and use it to cover the smells. It took 2 nights until the smells were faded.

This hotel is a comfortable non-nonsense option for those who want to stay in a good location but are on a budget. Consistently good experience and service. Room was the right size and clean, bed was comfortable, check-in and checkout process was super fast and efficient. This is a great example of when good value doesn't actually mean a compromise in terms of comfort or other hotel amenities. Will stay there again.

The lady staff was very professional and very friendly and she speaks good english so it was not difficult for me to communicate with her. Room was nice and comfortable.

Be prepared to pay a lot more than the price u get on booking.com.. was supposed to pay 4000 norwegian kroners.. ended up paying 4500 instead.. for some «service charge» that mind u, is nowhere to be found on booking.com hotel page.. so i dont know, is it booking.coms fault or is it the hotel?! I dont know, but the receptionist tried for almost 5 min to find the «service charge part» on my booking just to show me that its there, but he couldnt.. so i dont know.. are we both blind or does it simply not exist on the website?!?
