Rooms will need to be refreshed, showers fixed, all is showing the age now. Other than that great hotel.

Used this hotel few times on my journey from UK to Poland and I was always amazed about the food and services.

Lovley location and surroundings for this place that we always go back on our travel to see family. Great selection of items for breakfast that is fresh and tasty.

There were several items which fell short of the 3-star rating this hotel has. I will not elaborate on those here, suffice it to say that before my departure I informed the owner and took her into my room to show her the evidence. Some of the items were fixed immediately, others were more of a business philosophy/customer relation nature and will take some time to implement. However, none of these were deal-breakers for me and it was nice to see that the owner took the time to receive some direct customer feedback.

Generally, Horda is a good place for a stopover on your way east or west. The hotel is in a quiet and safe location with ample parking and friendly staff, who make you feel very welcome. The reception is staffed 24/7, so there is no need to worry if you get delayed. The rooms are clean and generous, the bathroom is well prepared, the breakfast is more than adequate for most travellers and in line with the price one pays. During my visit, there were no hidden costs added to my bill.

I didn't like the fact that below our room was rooms for smokers and they have small table and chairs for sitting so they go outside to amoke and talk below our window.

Some of the men staff were very unpleasant. Also while the hotel allows pets, they make you feel VERY unwelcomed - upon arrival you are immediately asked to sign a list of rules and FINES that you will have to pay if you break the rules. Most of them are common sense, so the hotel doing this feels like they don't trust you at all.

Good location and the hotel is charming with nice surroundings.

This was definitely not the standard of a 3 star hotel. Bathroom poorly maintained so that showed did not work properly, water did not drain down the basin well, hair dryer was missing (fixed immediately by the staff), toilet on the cheapest side. Beds were not comfortable and there was little space (for example, small table and only 2 chairs) for a family room for 4 people.

Quiet room, location next to the motorway, safe carpark, friendly staff.

A constant, annoying sound when the card for electricity is plugged in. We had to remove the card during the night to be able to sleep. The interiors could use a makeover. No hand soap in the bathroom. Only one table in the restaurant for dog owners (actually the table is in the reception area) and this table is often occupied, leaving you with no options to eat if your dog can't stay alone in the room. The breakfast is a bit boring and very standard. Overall, I have found better value for the same amount of money elsewhere in Poland. Despite all of this, I will not hesitate to come back to Hotel Horda another time.

Old school hotel, nothing fancy, but it serves its purpose. Close to the motorway, close to the border with Germany and therefore a typical transit hotel. Large and safe parking. Dogs are welcome. Good food in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.
