“Colleen, Leo & Millie (fur baby) you are all very special people who are so lovely and welcoming. Your special touches to this delightful room are so welcome and appreciated. We should have stayed here two nights instead of only one if we had only known what a tranquil piece of paradise this place is. Your gardens are magnificent. A real credit to you both. Millie is a very special addition to your family. What a little treasure you are Millie, and she loves lots of attention and loving. You are both so kind and delightful that if there were more lovely people like you, the world would be a lovelier place to live in. Leo, we love your extensive collection of old stuff and memorabilia. Thank you Leo for 'sneaking' your wonderful feijoas in our bag. They were very much appreciated. Your accommodation was by far the best in many ways.”

“Mary was wonderful. Always in for a little chat, some local recommendations and very helpful in general. New Brighton shops, pub & hot pools is not far and it is a nice walk.”

  • “I went with my friend for two nights and found it to be great value for price. The cooked breakfast was amazing - it saves you having to go out to town to eat and so filling that you won’t need lunch. I fell sick on the first day there and Rayone & Rees gave me a berocca and vitamin c tablet every morning which was so lovely of them!”
