  “Right from the start this is a wonderful place to stay - beautiful, peaceful location and a lovely old building. The welcome from the girl manning reception/ serving dinner was truly exceptional as was all of the service we had there. We had a lovely, comfortable room with a great shower. The food was delicious and the dining room is lovely with wonderful views. Can't recommend this place enough. There was even home made shortbread in the room. So nice!”

  “The breakfast was excellent, Staff very attentive and entertainment was really good. We arrived at the same time as a couple of coach parties and I imagine that was why there was entertainment provided. Lovey views over the lawns to the water. We also had a three course dinner for £20 each which was very nice and the portions were more than ample”

  “Great location , just across the road from the ferry station . Lovely staff , everyone was really friendly and accommodating, we had a dog traveling with us and we had no problems at all . They also organised that we could have breakfast in the bar area so our dog could stay with us , thank you for that and for all the recommended places to visit . We will be back for sure .”
