“The hotel was great!
Very friendly staff and owners, location very nearby Grossarl and ski lifts.
Breakfast and evening meals were good, more than sufficient and for the children separate menu's were available.
Our family room was clean, spacious had a perfect layout with a small separate mezzanine where the children slept.
Last but not least, there was an issue with our stay dates and they kindly asked us to arrive and leave a day earlier. We accepted this and as a thank you we received a voucher to spend in the hotel bar.
We recommend staying there, we will come again if we go back to Grossarl.

“Klaus is exceptional. Friendly accommodating and professional. The attention to detail are fabulous throughout the Hotel. The staff are great too and very helpful when the children had minor food requests. The chef is outstanding, the quality of the food impressive and delicious.
The rooms are really comfortable and decorated tastefully. Spacious and stylish, with sizeable balconies.
We are a big family group of all ages on a skiing holiday, celebrating the Christmas break. The New Years Eve celebrations were wonderful, Klaus put on a lovely Gala Dinner with multiple courses starting with a glass of Champagne, ending with beer fresh from the kegs, fireworks and midnight buffet. The Goulash is so tasty. Perfectly located for the Ski Schools and slopes.
I would recommend the Hotel to everyone.”
“I like such family run berghotel. Everything was lovely, the accommodation and food, the wellness looked fantastic, although we did not have time to go inside.”
“Very nice and welcoming staff. They don't speak English very well so some basic knowledge of German is recommended, however they make up for it with very open attitude and hospitality.
My room was spacious, with super comfortable beds and comfortable bathroom. It had all the amenities I could wish for.
The location of the hotel is absolutely superb - close to the centre of Grossarl (very nice) and literally on the slope. You can reach ski lift literally directly from hotel's door. With this ski lift you can ski the whole Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area which provides plenty of excellent slopes.
Finally, I recommend hotel's restaurant. It serves excellent buffet breakfasts and very good dinners. It's absolutely worth the money it costs. It is also very convenient to have this restaurant in the same building as accommodation.
I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and I hope I'll return to it in the coming years. I wish the whole Grossarl / Gastein valley community better winter conditions than in winter of 2023/24 because it's clear that there were many investments in the whole skiing area and it's very well prepared for skiers.”

Special shout out to Tobias who looked after us at dinner. My room was super comfortable and spacious with a fantastic view. Staff were friendly and facilities great for families but didn’t feel “kiddie”. Communal spaces well designed and spacious. Great location for ski lift. Ski in- ski out when there’s snow!”
