“Very warm welcome by our hosts. The late night toasties saved our lives :) We had our best English breakfast (fresh products and prepared with care) of the whole holidays. The rooms are very comfortable in which we slept like babies.”

  • The Denewood Review score: 10

“Upon arriving at The Denewood Sara and Kevin made us feel very welcome. On arrival we were shown round — dining room, lounge and bar. The breakfast menu was explained to us; we had never seen such a great menu before, from continental to full English, plus so many other combinations. There is no way you would go hungry. The bedroom had a double bed, washbasin, separate shower and toilet. Added bonuses were a very good hairdryer, a fan, and a small fridge which held a pint of milk, plus two small bottles. Towels and fresh drinking water were provided every day, plus chocolates. Car parking, directly outside the front door, is free. Sandown beach and local shops and restaurants are about five minutes’ walk from the hotel. The stop for buses to Ryde and Brading is at the bottom of the road. Buses for Shanklin, Newport etc can be caught just round the corner in the high street. Would highly recommend this B&B.”

  • Stroud House Review score: 10

“The host was lovely. She gave her time to show us our room . She also recommended we took a walk to the bay, and gave us instructions to walk there. She also asked us what we wanted for breakfast, such a wonderful selection”
