I thoroughly recommend hiking to the lake, guided by James. He's very knowledgeable and will talk to you a lot about the local landscape, people, flora and fauna. It includes boat trips on the lake and visits to an island or two. Great day out. Thanks to the whole hotel team. Easily one of the best places I've stayed in east Africa.”
