  “Ravi and his family were perfect hosts, providing a delicious evening meal at a nominal price. Breakfast was included and very generous and tasty. The family happily talked about Sri Lanka and their lives. Ravi arranged transport to the local town, which was well worth exploring and then onto the Freedom Elephant Project.”

  “The location of property is secluded, but special. The room is small and simple, but it has ac, very comfortable bed, fridge, bathroom and balcony. The guy was very nice, he was driving us around in his tuk tuk and provided with all informations we needed. Breakfast at hotel was great. You can enjoy it watching elephants bathing.”

  “Discover the hidden gems of Mawanella through the warm hospitality of Anushka and his lovely family at their enchanting homestay 🌿 This place is so wonderful I extended my stay and will definitely be back! Everything was perfect, the food was delicious, the hospitality, the room, the pool to cool down on a hot day, great location making it easy to go to other parts and also lovely to just sit and relax surrounded by nature reading a book or writing. Plus, Anushka really knows the island and is a great tour guide!”
