  • Lighthouse Inn Review score: 7

“Close to the beach and haystack rock, good facilities, parking and friendly staff. Nice complementary stuff like breakfast, cookies, toffees, water and postcards.”

  • “Great place in a quiet location 5 mins walk from the beach. Booked it for the location and hot tub. Arrived later than I had planned, but easy access after quick responses from owner. Lovely space with steep ladder to the loft bedroom. Quality bedding and towels, comfortable sitting area and kitchen. Hot tub was already hot, so lovely to relax in with a glass of fizz after a long days driving.”

  • Schooner's Cove Inn Review score: 8

    “Excellent location, nice room size.”

  • “Overall we had a good experience here. The view is fabulous, and it is just a short walk to the beach. It is right on the Seaside Promenade, another great place to walk. Far enough from the noisy downtown area to be pleasant. Beds were very comfortable. Staff person at the check-in location was friendly and helpful. Very clean inside. Gas fireplace was nice for the slightly chilly evening.”

  • Surfland Hotel Review score: 9

“It's a nice hotel. Perfect for exploring the area. We loved the balcony with the sea view. So peaceful”

  • McMenamins Gearhart Hotel Review score: 9

“Eclectic, felt high end without being fancy or stuffy. The downstairs pub was cozy and wonderful on a rainy day. We had breakfast there and hung out for a couple hours on our laptops and nobody came in, but they kept filling our coffee. We had never heard of this place but will definitely be back here or another one of their properties.”
