I loved my stay at Cocoville resort which is tucked away in Chalong, but close proximity to the gyms and restaurants. I stayed in a villa type accommodation, which had its own porch, fridge, large bathroom and two pools at the resort. The location and the atmosphere was so calm and idyllic, but close enough to everything and a short journey to attractions and the Phuket old town. Loved my stay!

The room ("Villa") we had was set up for 1 person staying rather than for a couple - i.e. one set of crockery & cutlery, one bedside table and lamp. We could have done with more storage space as well - a large chest of drawers would have helped a lot. We were provided with more coat hangers when we asked though. A No loud music policy around the pools would have been appreciated as sometimes a few guests could be inconsiderate with this.

The best place to stay on the Soi! Cocoville is a wonderful oasis of calm in the midst of the Fitness Street hustle and bustle. It has all you need in the place - two swimming pools, restaurant with healthy (and unhealthy!) food, as well as a snack bar, bottled water, and same-day laundry. Other places may feel like you're in a prison cell or on living on top of the other residents, but not here - you are surrounded by lush vegetation that provides privacy and much welcome shade. A big highlight is the staff - Lena and team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back!

The best place to stay on the SOI. Not only are the staff exceptionally friendly and great at their jobs, the rooms are clean, the beds unbelievably comfortable, the pool has full sun and shade if you need it, and you do not need to leave the hotel for food. The menu is fresh, healthy, delicious and affordable. I HIGHLY recommend COCOVILLE!!

Actually, there is nothing to criticize. Especially not for the price. In my personal opinion, they could install better lighting in the rooms. Especially in the bathroom or close to the mirror. As a female, it is hard to do your skincare, hair, or make-up properly when there isn't enough light. I ended up moving the light next to my bed closer to the mirror. It did not really help, but at least a little. I would have gone more often to the hotel restaurant if the staff would work with gloves and face masks. A hygienic kitchen is super important to me - and I thought especially after the pandemic, people should have more awareness. I had a look in their kitchen whenever I could. And it did not really raise my appetite :(. But yeah, in general, it is a bit hard in this area. The only restaurant in this vicinity which appeared more hygienic to me was "Pure Vegan Heaven". They work with gloves. The food is fantastic there, too. So I can highly recommend it!

I have stayed in different hotels in Chalong area before, such as "Signature", "The Blue", "Marina House" or "Dent Station". But Coco Ville is by far the best. It is like a little oasis in the middle of the action - super calm, spacious rooms, clean, peaceful, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I liked the fact that even the bathroom is spacious and that the shower does not have a boiler system where you have to wait until the water gets warm. Also, I tried the restaurant. I am vegetarian and was glad to find different meals with tofu, fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits. The ones that I tried were all delicious. See photos. I think the menu even works for vegans. And you can order your coffee or cappuccino with unsweetened almond milk. The hotel offers a laundry service for 70 Baht per kilo (2023). It is fast. I got my clothes returned within 24 hours. On the main road, you find cheaper laundry services for 40-50 Baht per kilo. I never tried them though because I was too lazy :).
