Fabulous location on lovely sandy beach. Nice pool, restaurant and bar. Accommodation is comfortable and aircon was good, if a bit noisy. Gardens well maintained. Staff very helpful.

It is a bit isolated. So be sure to come here for a nice and relaxing quiet stay.

The property was very welcoming and the staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are super comfortable with outside showers and big beds. The food at breakfast was amazing and different everyday. The restaurant at night on the beach was also very good and with a crazy sunset view.

Exceptional balance of friendliness, value for money, peace and beautiful surroundings. Will be back but will bring a book. Happy hour is two hours, cocktails are dangerously good, restaurant food is lovely. Family , couple friendly with no partygoers.

Cool and relaxed place. Not busy, family friendly. Villa with private pool was beautiful. Excursions offered are pretty expensive but great.

Absolutely great place! Quiet, very tasty breakfasts, private beach and awe-inspiring sunsets! For me the best place to stay on Koh Yao Yai if you like a bit of luxury, but not overpriced and with a bit of local spice. We rented scooter on northern part of island (cheaper then closer to hotel). Also - small gym, but almost always empty. If you need to do cardio or small workout - great. A place to chill. We'll be back for sure. Can't wait :)

The rooms are lovely and clean, aircon is great and the outdoor shower is a lovely touch! The staff couldn’t do enough for us and helped us book the mangrove kayaking which I highly recommend! The beach at the hotel is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and an amazing sunset. You can rent a scooter to get across the island to Laem Haad beach extremely cheap, we had so much fun riding around the island exploring!

There was a bit of ant infestation in our outdoor shower. And it is a bit of a drive from the pier. But you can book a taxi for an additional fee. But none of this took away from the amazing experience.

An unbelievably, beautifully furnished and decorated villa with its own personal infinity pool overlooking the sea. This was such an idyllic setting located on the beach front.

Lovely quiet sandy beach with Plenty of sun beds. The beach has a very big shallow shelf (which is exposed at low tide) so you can stand up a long way out & it’s nice for snorkelling. A little rocky - wear swimming shoes! Cute rooms (with fridge) & I liked the outside shower. Delicious food in the restaurant (in a beautiful setting) & not really more expensive than the 3 nearby restaurants (which are on the road & the food is nowhere near as good) Decent breakfast. Cocktail happy hours! Lovely staff. Rent a scooter - they’re great fun:)

Prices, in general, are too high. We only had dinner once in the restaurant, because on the street corner, the restaurant is half price for the same. The resort also feels a bit dated, so the high accommodation prices don't feel correct. Pick up from the pier for 30 minutes is 600 baht.

We had a great stay and enjoyed our villa with a private pool. It's great to relax and quiet location. Great breakfast options.

We appreciated the stay at the elixir resort. Our Villa, breakfast, the beachside (incl. tides!) and the friendly staff. Scooter rental just 5min by walk.

I loved everything.

I liked everything. Food was very good from the restaurant albeit more expensive than outside but that is to be expected. Close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable with good aircon. The pool looks nice if that's your thing but the beach is beautiful. Not good for snorkeling though. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I don't usually want to go back to the same place but this is an exception.

Only thing i didnt like was once in the water the sea floor is very rocky and uncomfortable to stand on. (Not in the control of the resort to be fair.)

Did NOT want to leave!

Delightful welcome from all the staff. I had a minor accident earlier that morning and the reception team couldn't have been more helpful or attentive, supplying me with fresh bandages etc. We were shown to our superior villa, which was spotless and beautifully thought through. Every little detail has been thought of, down to rattan bags for pool/ beach, good beach towels and even a re-chargeable torch for use at night. Food is more expensive than local restaurants, but very well executed and delivered by yet more delightful local staff. Breakfast is included and provides a very comprehensive choice , from continental to cooked breakfasts. The beach is stunning and feels empty- absolutely fulfilling the 'paradise island' image. Due to being somewhat immobile, we decided to extend our stay here and were moved to one of their pool villas- private pool, outside bathtub., ENORMOUS private deck with ridiculously comfortable loungers as well as a table and chair. This was a perfect place to observe the local wildlife at dusk- huge, but beautiful bats flying between the trees. We have already decided to book again for next year. This was everything one could hope for as a romantic break... we've been made so welcome. Thank you to all the team.

Beautiful private beach - it was super relaxing to be there. Lots of coral to look at in the ocean in front of the hotel. I loved the staff - so kind and friendly. I appreciated them very much.
