Beach is not that nice, would not recommend swimming. Bed was very hard. There is no water refill station and one night we had no water, walked around the hotel for an hour trying to find one member of staff to get some water and had no luck.

Lovely rooms, so close to a decent beach. Pool was great and having a restaurant on site was super convenient. Had a two night stay here before getting a ferry and had a lovely time. Air con good and also had a fan!

Warmly greeted, quick check-in. The owners are nice and friendly people. Clean pool. The staff is very active and nice. It’s great that you can have pets , we were with a cat and we felt comfortable 🙏

The door for the hotel room didn't have a lock and the bathrooms were smelly maybe due to the swage on the island.

Quite dated and needed general freshen up, external repairs and renovations. Shower heads in room needed big improvements. Barely usable. Could not stand under shower head at all. Had to use as hose/shower.

Location very quiet, need 2 get a scooter to give more options for food and drinks. Outdoor furniture in garden rooms could be comfier.

Garden room was nice & spacious, good size outside space. All room facilities were available. Pool was really nice. Added bonus of some tortoises as garden pets.

Beds hard and hard to get out of as low and a big side part. Around the gardens could be better as I stood in dog poop and the grounds uneven and hard to walk on Kitchen/ bar area could be tidier

The staff were amazing. The dogs around were a cute touch. Just a very friendly place, felt at ease, and any queries or issues are resolved very quickly and efficiently, e.g. AC had an issue, and when notified, it was sorted straight away. Canoeing and pool available is a must. Food was well portioned to the price. The room was very spacious and accurate to description.

Not didn't like but I found the bed a bit low, the mattress was comfy, but I found getting off the bed a little difficult (I am quite elderly, fit but elderly). And the wooden steps down to the beach from the terrace were, for me, a little narrow. Again, probably an age thing.

Excellent owner, Gung, always ready to help and always smiling. Excellent English. Staff also very nice. The resort was kept clean. Good swimming pool, great for swimming. Good Air con. Good WiFi signal. Really hot water from the shower, great. My sea view room on the beach, well, above it. Steps at terrace to go down directly on to the beach. Terrace quite private (not fully). Gung has dogs which do get excited when other dogs wander past, just yappy. Otherwise quite peaceful. Very close to the naval base, not that you would know it. I had a jacuzzi on the terrace but hardly used it as the sea was pretty good for swimming. Good length of beach for walking. Bar restaurant just up the beach if wanting different place to eat rather than the in house restaurant. The 7-11 is 1km from the resort. Rather than watching me walk Gung drove me there twice when I needed shopping. Also, when I asked her to book me a taxi to my next stay, the taxi was Gung. Obviously for a taxi fee. But how kind and thoughtful she was/is. Pool towel and shower towel provided.

the bathroom could be more comfortable

Right on the beach, the staff is really kind, the place is quiet but also not too far from restaurants. Wonderful because it is a small convivial hotel. Having a scooter or car is even better to go about. It was perfect to go with a our young child as he could play on the beach, the water is shallow so safe for children and no big waves. The pool is very nice and has a part very shallow for small children.

Had some water issue, and staff friendly but overwhelmed with new visitors on a busy weekend. The property is showing its age.

Quite, good place to get rid of stress, great bed. The price was a great value.

it’s a little out the way, we had a couple of issues but staff sorted this out straightaway, staff are really lovely.
