Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe photos show a swimming pool, but there was no water. The photos show a lush breakfast with fruits and a lot of choice, but it was very basic and the same every day
The staff were so lovely and helpful. They changed my room to a much better one, and were very obliging with requests. Excellent proximity to beach, restaurants and supermarket,. Also a nice long walk to the Old Town along the beach. It was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely come back

United KingdomInitially on entering the room it smelt unpleasant, looked as though not been cleaned or the bedding changed. Visible marks on sheet and duvets. On asking for the room to be cleaned and the bedding changed the room was excellent. Small balcony with chairs, fridge and tv - could benefit from having a kettle, however you can ask for hot water.
Location was excellent - short walk to beach, restaurants, cafes, chemist and supermarkets. Lovely garden to sit, watch the neighbourhood and local kittens. Food market in the square right outside on a Thursday. Staff are all very friendly and accomadating should you need anything. Good breakfast too, very filling. Plenty of tea and coffee. Served 08.00-10.00 which is great if you want a lie in. Excellent value for £.

FranceWhen I arrived, I felt smoke in my room, however when I opened the windows the smell soon went away so I didn't signal this to staff. I really can't say there was anything that caught my attention in a negative manner in particular!
Damla and her family were very kind and welcoming. It's a great place to stay if you want to spend time at the beach and do hiking in the nearby mountains. The hotel is clean and I could clearly see they pay attention to it. I recommend this place if you are looking for a basic yet comfortable option in Antalya close to the beach. There is a great fish place as well around the corner, Balikci Murat, also worth a try!

RussiaCan't say, everything was fine.
Very lovely family-style hotel. Excellent quality for the price. Rooms are decent size, with balcony, large wardrobe. Hotel owners and personnel are very nice and helpful. Location is very convenient: beach is about 7-10 min walk, small Migros and Sok nearby and other little supermarkets even closer, many restaurants around, bus stops nearby, 5M Migros mall is about 30 min walk. One day a week there is farmers' market right near the hotel where one can buy tasty fruits, nuts, etc.

United KingdomNothing to put here.
The staff in the Hotel were so friendly and attentive without being intrusive, nothing was a problem for them from coming outside to welcoming me to arranging transport back to the airport. Yes the hotel is basic, but that's what it says it is, but it's great value, clean, nice breakfast, room kept clean with enough fresh towels, ( the little touch of making displays of them is so nice, makes you feel they went to an effort) , nice little swimming pool, great location for the beach and shops. All in all if you are looking for a quiet, friendly Hotel with great service and great staff, this is where to go. Would I return? Hopefully, and would not hesitate to visit this Hotel again, thoroughly recommend.

United KingdomThere is no kettle in the room, nor telephone in case of emergency. Although the hotel only has three floors you have to go downstairs/take lift to the ground floor to access reception.
I really liked this family-run hotel as it was quaint, relaxing and lovely & peaceful which is exactly what I needed from my holiday!! Staff and management are very accommodating no matter the time of day, and I felt totally safe which was perfect as a female holidaying alone. RussiaSome bath equipment are highly worn out and require replacement. There were no milky products for breakfast, except of milk (not everyone can drink it), like kefir, yoghurt or ayran. Strange, but cold or mineral water was not available too, only tea or coffee, despite very hot weather (I think this can be improved easily). Internet connection sometimes was quite slow, not enough to watch YouTube videos, and unstable.
Relatively quiet place, not too far from the beach (even if not at first line of beach hotels), not far from Migros supermarket and a lot of small restaurants nearby. Good and polite staff. Almost always they had a stockpile of cold bottled water. Breakfast is good to acceptable, except of few details (below). Hotel has a swimming pool and good shadow terrace with dining tables. Lift worked all the time I stayed there. Hotel offers inexpensive taxi service to airport.

RussiaWater pressure in the shower was low, which is quite common for local houses. The breakfast was monotonous. Sometimes the internet connection was lost.
The location is very convenient, close to the sea, and surrounded by restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. The pool on the premise is excellent to freshen up during the day. The terrace is nice for chilling in the shadow. The personnel is very friendly and nice. The room was clean, air-conditioner worked fine. There also was a balcony in the room with a view of the mountains.
