The room itself didn’t have an ocean view. You had to go out onto the shared deck just outside the room to see the ocean. The bedroom was fairly clean but the bathroom was dirty and dated. There was mold on the pipes, the shower head was rusty and leaking and the toilet wasn’t the cleanest. I should have known something was wrong when I saw no bathroom pictures on the site when booking. The WiFi wasn’t working and there was no cable as advertised. In fact the tv wouldn’t even turn on! Then we couldn’t fully enjoy the deck area because once night fell the mosquitoes were on the attack.

Great location across the street from the beach, beautiful ocean views from the property, nice ambiance, friendly staff and comfortable bed. I could see this hotel was the place to be in it’s day.

The whole place needs a total revamp, the furnishings are very outdated. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, definitely better when Trevis was around!

Trevis, the Manager, absolutely made our holiday, he was so accommodating and friendly. The view from the terrace was lovely and the beaches were outstanding.

This a decidedly motel-quality experience. Some furnishings and linens could use an update to truly feel like a "boutique hotel." Staff service was mixed. The value of this spot is in its location--with the beautiful surroundings you might not want (or need!) to do much more than sleep in the room, especially if you go with an economy room option.

Great location across the street from the beach. The hotel manager is fantastic and very accommodating. The restaurant/bar patio is lovely to hang out during the day and evening. The food is good, considering there are virtually no other options in the area.

I booked a room for three people but there was only accommodation for two. I believe that the information given for "deluxe twin room" for three people is misleading and inadequate. There was not even a sofa for a third person to sleep on. I do not feel that I got a good bargain for my money. Fortunately, the manager, Mr. Clark,was very helpful and allowed my husband to stay in another smaller room which was not booked and my daughter and I stayed in the designated room. If it were not for him my stay would have been ruined.

The lack of food access in surroundings, current went so we couldn't get food prepared on time as it was our anniversary it was disappointing. However, the bar staff Rodney and the other staff were very welcoming in all our requests. They made an excellent effort in serving us, and it ended in an enjoyable evening.

Based on the advertising, I was expecting a more upscale resort boutique. The property needs a serious update and regular cleaning and maintenance.

Wanted a local breakfast but all they had local was sada roti and fry plantain which I don't like so I had to settle for scramble eggs and toast. I was in room 104 and there was no hot water.

I have stayed a few times before with previous owners and they were renovating! But! There is a lot of upgrading in the room with furniture and bath math and bedroom linens, secure closet space and Wi-Fi connection! Simple as outdoor functional shower! Incorporate the colors of the Logo in and around property! Then you can call it a Romantic getaway! It’s convenient and can be made a household name!!!!

It wasn’t an average breakfast, where as there was a guy whom had to order triple times in order to satisfy his appetite! It’s like a sample!!! I do like the meals and Chef who has been there for a long time!!!!

Don't expect luxury. The furnishings are very basic which is expected given the price, however, there are some things that were no no's like paint splatter on the sheets which were discolored. A little TLC would go a long way. The fittings are very outdated. All that being said, the location would get me to return but for one-nighters only.

The location is ideal just across the road from the Las Cuevas Beach Facility. The restaurant is well placed for excellent views. The menu is limited and food very basic but the staff were very pleasant and willing to assist.

I have stayed here several times but this time was the worst. Something needs to be done with the overall cleanliness if you want repeat clients. You have a perfect location

Grimy sheets, blocked shower trap, loose handles, we accidentally got locked out on the terrace of our room. Tried the number on the web site the number wasn’t valid. Luckily we were being picked up soon so waited for our lift to alert them of our plight.

Apparently it had just been taken over, or the guy we met was working it with a view to own. Anyway I think if he is going to give it a good face lift it will be the place to go. You could see that back in the day it was a place to be seen in. However the it has been allowed to fall into disrepair.

The building is a bit run down, I think if the kitchen /bar area was a little more fixed up they could generate more foot traffic. Also current went for about 7-8 hours on new years eve and we were given 1 candle and found another that couldn't properly light. Nothing was rly offered for compensation and the drinks prices were ridiculous. I understand that everywhere there is some sort of mark up but $10 for a can coke or club soda was a bit much in my opinion. The bedsheet had brown stain marks on it and we were left with no sheet to cover with (good thing I packed my own).

The place is beautifully located between the sea and some very gorgeous mountains I appreciated all the plants etc and the views were amazing. The direct TV was a gem at night and the AC worked great I liked that we were walking distance from the beach and fish center and it rly was peaceful and relaxing

The food we ordered at the restaurant wasn’t great, the wings and fries were the only items we enjoyed. The signal strength of the Wi-Fi was poor so it didn’t work from the room and we did have our toddlers with us. The room is tight, there is a mini fridge but no microwave. Our breakfast was served very late also, while the staff was there early, they were locked out and were t able to prepare our breakfast on time, and having 2 toddlers that was a big deal to us.

The ocean view was amazing and I loved the proximity to the beach, literally across the road. The staff was courteous and accommodating.

None of our request or amenities actually materialized. We got an email from the owner stating that if there was a problem to raise it with staff during the stay versus afterwards and that there would be a complimentary rum punch but there was so much to address we decided to take it for what it was and focus on enjoying what we could, otherwise we'd spend our whole stay going back and forth with the management.

It is a great location right across from the beach with ample space and amenities to create an exceptional stay. Scenic views of the ocean from the dining area to nature in the back. The price was affordable.

The musty room and lack of water. . That is a health problem
