Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThey should not allow pets and use fabric chairs. Chairs look very dirty and full of pet hair. They should provide a microwave. No refrigerator understood, bc they have a ice shed always full of ice, but no microwave...come on.
Good location. Nice views from all over the resort. A+ for that.

United StatesTV reception was terrible, no Internet, the phone in the room, landline, didn’t work. Toilet plugged. Couldn’t swim in the lake was gross. People in the room next to us set up a big barbecue with tables and chairs right in front of the room. Nobody did anything about it.
The beds were super comfortable. And the air conditioning works great. The staff messed up the booking. Charged me for two nights instead of one.

United StatesBad experience. Twice was given room cards for rooms already occupied. Service attendant rebooked a new room and didn't cancel my original reservation for which I was charged 2 days prior to arriving and again at check-in. Manager took forever to call me and doesn't want to refund the double charge and only wants to credit 50% of room. There could have been legal consequences for walking in on people in their rooms. The TV didn't work, noisy bed and outside light was annoying.

Nice view of Shasta Lake. Very comfortable bed, spacious room. Restaurant adjacent to motel has excellent lunch and dinners served. Wait staff very nice and efficient.

United StatesWe arrived at 8:30 pm after a same day booking on booking.com. It was a long day drive due to road construction delays and a closed road on our intended route. We learned the regular check-in staff left at 6 pm leaving it up to security to check us in. With no prearranged room assignment the first security sent us to a dirty room. We had to them hunt for a security guard to find us a clean room. The whole process took one hour. We did not eat that night as the resort restaurant was not open on Monday’s although that was not noted on the resort website. After the long drive and frustrating checkin process, we did not wish too drive into the closest town to eat. The security guard said there was a pizza parlor that delivered there. However there was no cell service. He tried the resort phone but did not get through. The clean room he finally found was upgrade which the guard kept telling us. However between the lumpy too soft mattress and the air conditioner that made strange loud rattling noises every time it kicked in neither of us had a restful sleep. When we checked out the next morning we shared our experience with the front desk staff member. She said she would tell management. That was five days ago. We have heard nothing back from anyone.

United StatesBathroom small and dated. Shower head trickled water out (no pressure). Tv only had a couple channels receiving signal and reception was horrible. Just expected a bit more comforts for the price paid per night.
Location was nice and room clean. On-duty staff person in evening was fantastic and willing to do whatever he could to make stay and customers happy.

United StatesWell the wifi doesn't work well and the TV is horrible 35 channels but only about 5 working .The blow dryer doesn't work also there was no plug outlet to plug my phone to charge in the room. So to charge that amount is ridiculous after taxes. My TV was sideways which is horrible also
