How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Other people's hair. Plumbing was bad.
Room was OK left a not to leave a good review so figured I would try. The only thing I can say is there was other people's hair in alot of locations... kinda nasty but after cleaning that wasn't bad.

The management attitude she is got a very vicious vindictive awful personality she's malice in the way that you know she didn't want to handle my problems with any kind of consideration she took things out of my room that I still haven't gotten back because they can't find them imagine that....
I really don't appreciate that you charged me for a pet fee when my pet is a service dog and then you double book me and then when you have to pay me back you banish me from the property so no I'm not allowed to rent there no more because you owe me money I feel that is very biased and for that I wouldn't rent from you again anyway.

The room floor was very dirty, sink drain was clogged, pool was extremely cold, lots of suspicious activity in the parking lot and a few rooms close to ours.
The room temp was nice, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly.

Room Floor was dirty, we didn't realize until we looked at the soles of our bare feet and they were black. We used the room towels to wipe where we were walking so our feet would not stay black. The mounted hairdryer didn't work. I asked the front desk to deliver a new one since I wasn't gonna walk over just out of the shower. The shower plumbing needed fidgeting to get the water to run right.
Bed was comfy. Bkfst was fine.

The site said there was a fitness center, but it was being remodeled. The internet was too puny to use. The motel looks like it should be repaired and updated. I had looked for more more and was disappointed.

The power went out for 10 hours on the first night. For those hours, the room was useless. I thought it had a indoor pool, but was told it was outside.
I liked the price. I liked the jacuzzi.

Dirty floors, (extremely dirty) and the cob webs in every corner! At least a 3/4 in gap under the door which allowed cold air into room.

Went to take a shower this morning and the tub was not clean. I spotted a ball of hair in the drain. Gross

There wasn't much that I didn't like about the place. My only concerns being the tub and a thing about the pool. The tub had a bath mat in it. This said mat floated to the top when I was running bath water. Under it was disgusting.its a hotel so imagine. And the pool was just cold, but I'm kinda sensitive to that so some would see that as a plus(the kids sure did)
The pool was nicely sized. The beds we're comfortable. The TV's worked as well as the cable on them. The rooms were clean.(mostly) Finally I got rooms the we're connected just like I asked.

Beds are too firm
All 3 staff were smoking a cigarette as I went to check out It's not the smoking I minded, it's that all 3 we're outside at the same time with no one inside attending to customers

Yard outside was not mowed and weedy. Parking lot was littered. Room I was sent to was not ready, had to move. Internet was slow. Smoke smell was in the AC. Would not provide Wyndham rewards points.
Check in was fair. First room was not ready, management moved us to a "ready" room quickly. Quiet area. Breakfast was ready and the standard for a Days Inn.

Location was not ideal for us.

Toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned. No cups in room. No toiletries. Menu for room service outdated so did not exist anymore. One of the lights did not work.

The first room we were put in wasn't cleaned. When we changed room the door didn't lock when you went out.
Staff was super friendly. She was really busy but was very polite with each guest and answered any questions and solved any issues we had to the best of her ability

The when I use the jacuzzi it wasn't working properly may need little updates
Front desk lady was very nice and helpful with things when things wasn't going good help transfer me to a different room because the jacuzzi didn't work but other than that it was all right
