Room could use some maintenance to bring it up to the Motel 6 standard (though I know they're imperfect too). Iron and board could be handy. Appreciated the parking lot security lights, but one near my 210 room blinked all night, and you could see it through drawn shudders.
Staff checked to see if I wanted towels. Climate control, though aged, worked just fine. Key card worked without hassle.

The chair furniture is dirty. There is a piece of hair in my bed. Please look on the photos as evidence.
it is close to the Tyler mall, stores, and restaurants. The air condition is strong.

I turned on our A/C unit right away but it was so hot inside that it didn't cool the room down until 8 hours later. We didn't sleep much that first night. It was horrible. I won't stay here again unless it's winter time. It was a miserable first night that ruined our experience. The staff knows weeks in advance that we are coming. Why wouldn't they turn the A/C on many hours before we get there? I guess they don't care because they aren't sleeping in the room.

United States9 reviews1 helpful vote“Good location but needs improvement”The staff was not very friendly, the room could have used some attention to detail cleaning wise (hair that wasn’t ours in tub, drain and floor), the linen, towels and shower curtain need to be updated badly. It was so cold in the room and only a sheet on the bed. The shutters on the windows did not keep out light and the outside lights shown in very brightly. A lot of noise from neighboring rooms and outside(neighbor upstairs showered about every 30 mins during our entire stay)!
The room seemed updated with tile and flooring, it seemed mostly clean and was at a good location for my daughter’s college graduation.

United States1 review1 helpful vote“My stay wasn’t terrible I just expected more for the price.”The cost of the room did not match the quality. Very overpriced. The room was supposed to be a “king suite” it was a basic king room. Bedding was cheap with no comforter or blanket.
The location was in a decent area.

There's too much noise from the street, from the shower from above or next (the room became a boom box when someone else took the shower at the 2am), from the parking lot, from the AC next door, from the people talking in the next room, from the motor of the fridge put in front of the bed.

Clean Spartan room. Floor a bit sticky. Air conditioning unit very noisy.
