Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesShould have gotten two double or Queen beds, the pull out couch bed was awful the springs were so hard to sleep on. Really the worst one I’ve ever slept on, but that’s the only complaint I have.
The breakfast was pretty good and the elevators just about never had a wait. Everything was great and the staff was really nice.

United StatesI didn't like the fact that the hotel did not provide free parking. I understand the costs from a business aspect, however, I didn't like the $55 per night valet parking costs. They need more valet than the 3-4 people getting and returning vehicles to the parking lot. We were there for my sister's graduation. When my family and I walked out of the hotel and saw my sister's car in front (she didn't request the valet to retrieve it), we were wondering WHY her car was there. When the valet was asked he gave us an, "oh what happened was there was a little mixup". A little mixup? It should not have been a mixup when we were paying $55 per night for that parking and entrusting the valet to have a proper system so cars/keys wouldn't get mixed up. Free parking... Make it happen. Embassy Suites..
I loved the overall look in the inside of the hotel. It was very nice. The rooms were clean and neat and stocked with the normal essentials that hotels leave in the rooms. A lot of the staff was friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out was easy.

United StatesCons: - Early weekday breakfast end time (9am) may not suit vacationers but convenient weekend end time (10:30am). - Noise from breakfast traffic in the morning if using the sofa bed, especially on lower floors with fully open hallways. -Breakfast tends to run out if you’re later than 8ish and it can take a while to get more. Same for plates, silverware etc.
Pros: - Prime location directly across from Centennial Park, providing easy access to attractions like the aquarium, Coca Cola World, and children’s museum. - Abundance of dining options nearby and direct access to a Starbucks. - Breakfast with made-to-order omelets and a variety of hot and cold options. - Evening happy hour offering 2 drinks (wine, beer, and liquor). - Responsive customer service, quickly addressing missing towel issue. - Clean sheets, sofa bed, shower curtain, and towels.

United StatesOn-site Parking was $55/night with lot across street same for $20/night. Expected discount as Hilton Honors member. The Happy hour snacks were really poor (bagged chips and jarred salsa, Chex mix). Breakfast was not up to standards either. One hour left in breakfast, were out of fruit, baked goods and plates/silverware. They didn't have enough food for amount of people. We were told the Happy hour and Breakfast were supplied by on-site Ruth Chris restaurant so our expectations were high. Hmm, very disappointing and not near to Ruth Chris's standards.
Great location with friendly, helpful Staff. We were upgraded (Hilton Honors) to park view room which was really nice.

United StatesThe breakfast. Unfortunately the pancakes that they warmed up had mold on them. I’m glad I noticed it before I ate it. Seeing that ruined the rest of the breakfast for me so I never went back after the first visit. I didn’t like that even though what I requested was not fulfilled upon check in, however after complaining about the floor being excessively wet and soaking my socks, I was able to speak with management via a text service feature that they have and they moved me and my daughter the next day…was too tired after the drive to move that night.
Desk staff was friendly. Rooms clean. View. Location was great. Willingness to resolve the concerns I had while staying there.

United StatesHousekeeping woke us up EACH day of our stay. When traveling, we want to rest as much as possible..if I don't get up for breakfast, I shouldn't be woken up by staff. Check out is at 12. They shouldn't be knocking at 8am.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything we needed. Staff was friendly and wait times were minimal.
