The only thing I can say is the elevator is slow. Usually had to wait longer than usual, but that's not a big deal at all.

The room didn't look like it was cleaned all too well. There was dirt in the shower, and some trash on the floor including a large earring from what I am presuming belongs to the previous occupant.

That the hotel was always busy and noisy in common areas.

We liked this hotel. Staff were unfailingly nice and polite. It was just so full all the time. It was almost impossible to get a seat in the common areas because they were packed with students or parents of students or lecturers with students. Were they all staying? Who knows! It seemed to be a meeting spot as well as a staying spot. When we did get a seat, though, the sofa we tried was clearly nearing the end of its life anyway. The room was fab, the blackout was great and we had a good view of the tram and the shops. It was quiet, which we hadn't expected, except in the common areas. The fire and water fountain outside was spectacular (even though it smelt strongly of gas!) but the free parking was all taken up no matter when we returned (because of it being full of students etc) although the pay parking was convenient. It was great to be so near the tram and getting to the stadium for the football game was easy. Similarly getting to the Mall of America was easy although there was a lot of work going on so it wasn't quite as simple as it will be in the future. The attached bar was nice - limited range of cocktails but a big range of beers and a good menu. There were plenty of places to eat in walking distance too. So I liked the hotel but it was very busy. Not sure I was in the right demographic either (I'm a professor not a college student) I didn't feel I was anyway. I probably wouldn't come back to this hotel but would choose somewhere a little more central.

The location is super - the hotel is on campus. Clean and nice hotel. Large rooms.

our AC did not properly. they brought up 2 fans. never offered us a different room slept hot for two nights.

music very loud on Friday night, miss we were a few more floors away from music since we had to be up Saturday morning at 3am. got zero sleep!!!

Air vent in bedroom was constantly running even though it was shut off via the control panel. It was quite loud during the night, had to sleep with earplugs.

Nice big rooms with comfortable beds, enough space to work during the day and more than enough space to sit and meet in the lobby.

we did order a room for four people with two beds. the beds was very small for us even though we all are in normal size, the picture that we got of the room was from mutch bigger room than we got.

air conditioning doesn’t work. they came to try and fix it but I think that there is a problem at the hotel. I heard another guests complain about it. it working.

We had to ask to have our room cleaned. They didn't provide daily service. I'm sure due to staffing issues.

Great hotel on the University of Minnesota campus. Nice large room! Walking distance to the light rail and convenient to downtown!
