Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Statesstaff wasn’t willing to help us with a malfunctioning blind and then overcharged me and didn’t want to fix that either. front desk staff was terrible. took two weeks to get my refund and had to get it from booking because they refused to do it themselves.
The beds were comfortable, room was clean minus the used cup under the bed, and the breakfast was excellent.

United StatesWhen I arrived to check-in, I was advised a couple was checked in under my name. They received my room and rate. How does that happen? I was called on my way driving to Kansas City on my arrival date that I needed to change the room from a Queen to a King because of one of their Queens being unavailable. I agreed, I was told the rate would remain the same. When I get there it was another story, and it horrible experience. They do not check ID like they should and that is how this happened. Debbie worked to fixed the issue for me and I was able to get the room that was assigned to the couple who got my room. I was able to get my correct rate, but my credit card was charged 3 times. Then there was lawn work done at 7:30am on a Sunday morning, right by my window, (1st floor) they were trimming the bushes. Are you serious! I was woken up and could not go back to sleep and I go down to the front desk and the desk clerk was not sympathetic at all. She made it like it was not people with Hampton Inn and it was because they went around to the front and was trimming there as well. No apologies. Why? You could hear kids on the floor above me jumping, running, and screaming. The breakfast was not that great, I could have eaten somewhere else and it would have been better. The quality of the food compared to the hotel, needs to be better. Checking out, she was not going to provide me with a receipt. Everyone should get a receipt when checking out of any hotel for record of payment. Everyone I talked too had to ask for a receipt. I do not understand how they allow this to happen and do not make their guest feel appreciated from their mistakes. I should have gotten comp for my stay because of the issues they were on the hotel and not me. The pool had stuff floating in it due to the amount of people who had went swimming. It was gross and I wanted to swim. I am not sure how often they clean the pool. My overall experience was poor.
The location was great as it was close to food places and The Legends Outlet. Outside at night it was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed that part of my stay, the room was clean and roomy and even though animals had not been in there in over a week, it was as if they had not been in the room. The downfall is the wallpaper is coming off due to water damage on the wall.

United StatesWhen I booked I asked for adjoining rooms twice in an email and called. Was told they would try and accomodate and was hung up on and no response from email. When we got there they told us no but the room next to ours was not occupied until the next night. So they could have given us the adjoinging room. Instead they put us at oppisite ends of the hall. Which I think the person at the front desk did purposly. I was not rude nor did I bring up the emails or phone call. I just aske d if they could give us adjoining rooms.
The breakfast was fine and so was the location.

The people were also not personable at the desk never smiled when we checked in and she never smiled as long as we were down there it seems like they could get somebody more pleasant to be there
