my only complaint would be that housekeeping came around 8am banging on the door, woke us up, just to ask what time we were checking out that day. check out was at 12pm, there was no need to ask that question at 8am. also, we witnessed another guest upset about housekeeping entering her room and took her stuff out before she even checked out.

There wasn't any parking it was all taken even though they changed me for a spot. I was able to park in a handicapped zone and the hotel staff told me to park there but I was worried during the night about getting a ticket. I didn't have any other choice because they had no other suggestions where I could park for the night and since I paid $15.99 for a spot I took the only available spot The neighbors were loud 2 am still talking and shouting I told the.staff and the staff called them up for me but to no avail they continued until at least 3 am ( the staff never followed up on the noise by checking in person to see if they would be quiet). The cleaning staff came by 3:times in the morning they walked in on us while we were sleeping. I thought I had done both the deadbolt and top latch but they made it into my room anyway.. then checked on us again and then again as we were walking out the door. Sorry I thought I had the room until 12 pm for check out. And we were all done and checked out by 11am.

The room was nice all the bedding was comfy. Tha staff was pleasant. The location was great. Shower was good. They have shampoo conditioner body lotion and soap. The towels were nice too. There was a mini fridge and microwave. Everything was clean except the light switch in the bathroom which had dirty fingerprints on it?. Check out was quick and they sent me my receipt immediately.

The hotel was under repair. There was equipment in the lobby area. Blowers going all the time we were there. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient. Hotel was a good location for where we had to go in the city.

Shuttle not available to the airport. Near is a train and is very noisy in the rooms. When we arrived, they didn't even welcome us, we saw that something had happened in the lobby and breakfast area since there was equipment to extract humidity. They did not explain anything to us or apologize for the inconvenience. The bathtub had a break where the water goes down and we had to wait a day for them to fix it, meanwhile I had to lower the water in the bathtub myself holding the stopper with my hand.

Room is comfortable, clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast is ok, cereals, bread, sandwiches Jimmy Dean, fruits, coffee and juice. Shuttle available to Prudential Center

Was farther away than I realized from the airport. The paint, wall paper, plumbing fixtures were old, peeling and worn. The room was clean however it smelled like Fabulouso, really hard to sleep with that fragrance. Usually doesn't bother me but was to strong that night. Coffee machine was not clean and only had decaffeinated coffee.

    The price. Super huge room.

The facility is a bit run down, which was showing in the state of the room: shabby carpets, room and bathroom facilities (table, sink, faucet, shower curtain) loose, damaged or broken. While there was no internal noise, the railroad bridge in the immediate vicinity of the hotel made it a very noisy stay. Not for light sleepers. The breakfast is pretty standard. Breakfast hours are short, though, and stop at 9am weekdays. When we really needed the shuttle (going to the airport with the bags), it was not available.

The shuttle service to Newark Penn station has been reestablished, which avoids a 20min walk. Using the shuttle, the commute to Manhattan (using the PATH train from Penn to World Trade Center) takes about 45 minutes.

The person managing the property needs to wake up or be replaced. All staff members had a disinterested attitude. No warmth. No concern. The breakfast hall was crowded and the staff unwelcoming. The washing machine in the laundry was not working and the reception staff admitted that it has been broken for past 2 months. Overall level of cleanliness was below par when compared with hotels in similar price range.

The hotel is at walking distance from the Newark Broad Street Station with frequent trains to New York's Penn Station. There are a number of fast food restaurants nearby.

Had to park in alternate lot. While there was Security present and the walk is not far I felt a little uneasy given the neighborhood and dim lighting. Walls seemed thin! Noise traveled easily, I could hear conversations in hall and sounds from adjoining rooms.

No PA system for the guest when fire alarm goes off, we need to be inform what is happening and whether we need to evacuated. That is a concern for us Seniors.

I have stayed many times and overall it was very nice. I like breakfast. Maybe they can update their menu for more variety to breakfast, where's the grits and bacon. Overall stay was peaceful and staff was nice.

Shuttle almost unavailable, took 2 days to fix a flat tire to shuttle car. The last day hotel suffered a blackout since early morning, it was noon and it wasn’t fixed, not funny to check out from a 5th floor with luggage without elevator.

This property is starting to get very run down and dirty. The floor in the room had some stains, hoping it was dried wine and not blood! The walls have grime on them, and even the ceiling has gross marks as if something got up there. Was there a wild party in this room? Ugh. grossed out by I was tired so I slept and left.

The location is still very convenient, as you can get to the Penn or Harrison Path stations easily. Also, Tops Diner is close by.
