How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Didn’t really have any issues!
We loved our stay! The staff was always available, friendly, and fast with service. They had the best continental breakfast we have had at any hotel. The heated indoor pool was in great condition and we had a lot of fun swimming, they even stock towels in the pool room to use. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The beds and pillows were some of the comfiest I’ve had at a hotel. A/C worked great, curtains totally blocked out the light, great TV with good channels, free wi-fi with stay, had a mini fridge and microwave in the king bed suite we stayed in which is always a plus for when you have leftovers from eating out or want to pack food from home to bring with you on the trip. They have a little snack store in the lobby as well. All very quiet, no issues at all! Also had several staff members courteously ask about our experience or help in some way. The showers are nice and they even have nicer dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We forgot our toothpaste at home and they gladly provided us a complimentary replacement! Also in a great area, there’s literally a Starbucks right next door and lots of shopping areas closeby and close to downtown Nashville without being right in the middle, so we found the room to be a good price!

There is only one elevator for the entire hotel. We didn't have to wait long for it when we needed it but having another elevator would be a nice feature to have.
This facility was very quiet and clean. Housekeeping was very thorough and replenished everything we needed on a daily basis. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and offered a good variety. The staff was polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast.

We enjoyed every aspect of this visit: Room size, cleanliness, great breakfast offerings, comfortable seating, great housekeeping with prompt responses to our needs. Very nice price points for staying here.
Renee was on it!! She made sure that all options are cared for by her. Best breakfast of any Holiday Inn Express due to Renee. Rodney at the front desk was welcoming and worked hard to get us in a first floor king which was immaculate. Rodney has great personality, great eye contact, and thinks outside of the box.

Everything was pretty great we did have to kill a roach in our bathroom but that happens.
The amazing breakfast was so helpful with a traveling family. Staff were helpful and very kind.

Front desk employees were awesome. Sheet count was great. Low noise inside, road noise not great so I turned the unit to constant fan and the eliminated all noise. Everything very clean.

The automatic curtain wouldn’t go back down, called front desk at 3, when we left the room for a few hours, the curtain wasn’t looked at or fixed when we returned at 8pm. The front desk came up and pulled the shade closed, wasn’t fixed the remainder of our stay. Also the duvet and pillows were very uncomfortable.

All good. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the parking lot was fresh and clean.
Nice, clean rooms. Very quiet. The staff was professional and helpful both checking in and out. When we come down from Crossville to visit Family, this is where we stay.
