When we sat in the balcony the a/c unit was so loud you couldn’t even enjoy sitting there. Asked for grilled cheese for breakfast in the restaurant and they said they couldn’t do it. And exception could have been made it’s bread and cheese and I think you should always try and accommodate the guest.

We loved everything about it. Best hotel we stayed at during our yearly trip to Wildwood.

The room was clean, bright, and muffled noises. It was only steps to the private beach (lovely raked white sand). Staff were friendly, accommodating, and professional.

The only issue we had was with the restaurant. After the third day of us dining, somehow our waitress forgot to place our order. We waited about 40 minutes when we realized something wasn’t right. When we asked about our food we noticed the crew going into a bit of a panic. A supervisor or senior waitress explained that something went wrong with the printing paper and that no received our order. I just felt like we shouldn’t have been charged for our meals or to the very least giving a discount for our troubles. It caused us to check out late as a result. We were unhappy about this situation.

Everything was perfect the hotel is clean and very accommodating. The beds, pillow and couches are comfortable. Great views, very large pool awesome atmosphere all around. We will definately be back next year.

The restaurant wasn't finished yet, so there was a lot they didn't have yet, but what they did have was great! There was a horrible leak in the ceiling above the entrance and every time we walked in or out of the hotel we had to dodge it, which was difficult with our 3 children and massive stroller in tow. I don't even know where the water was coming from, it didn't rain the entire time we were there.

The property was very nice, well maintained, and more up-to-date than a lot of surrounding hotels. We had a slight issue with the first room, and they quickly accommodated us with another room. It's right on the beach, which was a huge draw, and the beach bar was very nice to have nearby. We had our kids with us and they loved the hotel. The staff was also really wonderful.

The air conditioner seems to blow directly on your head while you're sleeping. It also vents hot air out onto your balcony which is uncomfortable when you're sitting there so you have to turn the air conditioner off while you're out there. We were there while it was under construction so the noise was a bit irritating but I'm sure the property will be lovely when they're done.

Construction going on during our stay, which we were unaware of at time of booking. Food was very expensive.

Great location. Very nice rooms. Really liked the Star Bar and private beach. Also had a great shuttle service with our friendly driver, Joe.

The bathroom is very small. Luckily we stayed with fewer occupants than room capacity.

Beach to water was a quick comfortable distance. So nice to have hotel chaise and umbrellas, no lugging! The room and hallways were freshly decorated, lots of clean white. Very pretty. The housekeeping staff was terrific and helpful.

Property is in the middle of renovation, the front entrance was constantly leaking water and the pool was torn up. We called before booking our room and was told construction was finishing up two weeks before, but it was not. We were never contacted by the hotel to let us know the pool was under construction. Had we known the hotel was still under construction and the pool torn up, not sure we would have booked there. Would like to go back to Icona Diamond Beach After the construction is done.

Great location, nice updated suites , and the most pleasant staff I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, the hotel is being renovated so several of the amenities were not available . Once this resort renovation is completed, it will be a great place to vacation.
