The location right off the freeway is so convenient but with the forested area surrounding the hotel, it feels like you are not near civilization. The gift shop is very nice and the convenience of the nice restaurant on site is wonderful. And with a gas station just outside the park like entrance, very handy to fill up on your way out of town. The price is excellent for the quailty. The rooms are clean and have everything I need for my stay. Love this place!

The pool is tiny! If you’re expecting a resort sized pool this is not your place. At most the pool accommodates 4 people. This was unexpected as we had planned to spend time at the pool after hiking and exploring but we made it work. Also the spa was off site. This did not prevent us from enjoying the property but we may have chosen differently if we knew this in advance so just wanted to put it out there.

The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. They even sent me the recipe for the wonderful muffins they served at breakfast one day. We had a room with a courtyard which enabled us to extend our living area and entertain our traveling companions outside. Fresh baked bread and cookies were available each day as well as a nice selection of snacks and beverages in our rooms and in the lobby. Our villa was spacious with a fireplace by the bed es well as an extremely large bathroom with spa tub and its own fireplace. It was beautiful.

It was a bit dark to walk in the pool area at night. My husband tripped on the leg of a lounge chair we couldn’t see because it was dark.

Pool and hot tub were well maintained. Nice outside lighting. Restaurant has great service and food. Best cheesecake. Beds were comfortable and Bathroom was very nice.

These are minor issues in an overall excellent experience. The sheets seemed a little too synthetic but I do understand the issue of deterring bedbugs. Bathrobes would be a nice touch for going to and returning from the heated pool and hot tub.

I was there in the early 1980s. The recent remodel was very well thought out and executed. The staff was informative and courteous. The bed and pillows were so comfy! Shower was instantly hot, bath products were luxurious.

Beautiful interior, nice and friendly staff at the front desk, very comfortable rooms! Loved the bathroom which was very spacious, clean and kinda fancy. Great breakfast too but it is pricey. The park is so nice and the kids loved the playground (we didn‘t use the pool). Would definitely recommend this beautiful and comfy hotel.

Hotel was very convenient to the various places we wanted to visit i.e Grand Canyon, etc. Also close to downtown for shopping and restaurants.

LONG wait to checkin at reception. Only 2 people on the front desk and it was also their responsibility to answer incoming phone calls. We waited in line about 20 minutes to check in.

The toilet was blocked but they moved us to another room very quickly.. and then both sinks were blocked but they resolved it very quickly. Was happy with how well they handled our issues.

Loved this place! Had a great play area out back for kids and adults alike. Cute squirrels scurrying around was definitely a highlight.

The hotel was super clean and easy to locate off the highway. While it was too cold to enjoy the pool, we enjoy the surrounding area and visited the town of Flagstaff. We would stay here again if we're ever back in town!

The balconies could be bigger.

This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The facilities were excellent. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the pool was like a vision of heaven.
