Had no running water the entire time of our stay. Luckily my son was able to take a shower when we first arrived, but when I went to take one the water was off due to a drain back up in another unit. Was off for the remainder of our stay till we checked out. Could not sleep well becoz saw a few roaches on the wall and blood on the sheets of my bed.

the bed clothes had cigarette burns, the mattress and pillows were out of shape from use and age, the desk chair was unstable, the towels may have been washed but they are visibly worn, stained and discolored, bath tub floor was slippery like it had been coated with baby oil, the carpets are old, musty and stained, the room smelt of masked over smoke from days gone by. the stairs and landing carpets were aged and stained creating a musty smell in the stairwell- rip it up and leave concrete.

Parking, friendly front of house manager, reception and breakfast area clean and modern, in-room refrigerator and microwave oven, 2-seat sofa and coffee table, hanging space, iron and ironing board.

screens in windows had holes which allowed flies /bugs into the room. bathroom setup /toilet proximity to the sink was too tight. bathroom not well cleaned. found someone’s hair in one of the made beds.

Some new carpet or painting of rooms would brighten it up some. Very outdated.

We stay here all the time for our concerts overnite. Rooms are generally clean and beds comfortable or the price. Could us some updating or sure, but again for the price to sleep overnite, it's just fine. Front rooms on the road are super noisy, better in the back section.

The motel is for a quick stop and wash. It's not to spend the night there. A lady in a SUV waitng for a friend ask for $1.00. The place is worn out. They have dirty towels with spots on them which the staff believe is clean. They have cigarettes holes in the sheets and blankets along with spots that does not come out. The water does not get hot only Luke warm. The toliet kept getting clogged and the staff stated it's not tissue friendly. The couch in the room is ran down. It's dingy and spotted with dirt.

The staff was very nice and understanding. They gave me brand new sheets and towels. It's by many food places. Dollar general is down the street for cleaning supplies and sheets. Dollar tree is also down the street.

The bed spread and sheets and blankets all had cigarette burns in them. The bathroom sink had cigarette burns all over the sink. I asked for a no-smoking room and got smoking.

The air conditioner didn't work, but they brought a portable one immediately.One of the beds had stains in the sheets and cigarette burns. I couldn't rest at all in my entire stay.I stayed 3 days, and 2 of them I was woken up in the middle of the night because they called me from the desk by mistake,by 3 different workers, at 1:00 am, 3:00 in the morning.This happened 5 times!! I had to get up early the next morning so I couldn't rest at all. Apart from that people in other rooms are always noisy.This is not the first time I stay here, and always there's some drama in other rooms, people making noise as if it was daytime or not sleeping at all. Probably this does not have to do wwith he hotel, but keep in mind that the people that usually stay there is really noisy, so if you're looking for a place to rest and relax, this is not the place you're looking for. Unfortunately there aren't many other options in Monticello and this is the best one for a fair price

I booked a non-smoking room about a month in advance. When I checked in, I was placed in a smoking room which was... overpowering. I went back to the desk and they told me that all of the non-smoking rooms were occupied, so they could not switch me. They did immediately offer a refund, but finding a new place to stay ASAP in rural NY was challenging and put a strain on my timeline. I was lucky to book the last room at a different place, but ended up having to spend more money and grab a quick bite instead of dinner in order to make it to my ticketed event on time after the hassle of moving. It was nice to be so easily refunded, but that didn't make up for not being given the services I had booked in advance.

The room was very dirty. The bedspread and carpeting had stains. The floors did not appear to have been swept. We found dirt on the rug and the bathroom had hair all over it. The windowsill was also very dirty.

The air conditioner worked well and the shower was good. We didn’t try the breakfast.
