The main downside was that one of the reception staff (not housecleaning) knocked at our door at 11:20am to ask if we were leaving or had late checkout. Checkout time is noon. It's unclear why she knocked at the door when it was before checkout time. It made us feel rushed to leave.

Room was great, breakfast was great, really like the property. The availability of snacks for purchase at the front desk was really nice. Desk staff was generally nice and helpful.

Constant strong smell of cannabis - quite annoying! The sofa needs a lot of cleaning.

Normal hotel, needs renovation, but good for a couple of nights - very comfortable beds! A very good breakfast. Very nice staff.

Parking lot was packed but other than that, great stay.

The hotel was available for last minute stay. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the service was quick. When I went to ask for extended check out time, the front desk informed that 12pm is already check out time which was great. Security roaming the property for an added layer of safety.

The bed didn't have a proper mattress hence quite uncomfortable .Breakfast choices were extremely limited.Not enough meat items.Considering that international tourists frequent this hotel ,breakfast has to be improved to cater to foreign tourists as well.

The Cons: A few times when heading into the hallway, you are hit with an off-putting smell, which could ruin the idea that the hotel is clean, which wasn't true. Our room had a connecting door, and before long, it became a nightmare as the poor sealing caused the transfer of every noise from that room. We heard everything, including the phone conversations. So let's say you are not getting any sleep until the person on the other side wraps up for the day, and for us on Saturday, that was 1:30 am. You will literally hear the heavy stomping from above, and every door slam vibrates the room. This is aside from the train noise and busy street car noise from the outside. We couldn't sleep at all because we were being hit with noise from every corner, and this was the first hotel I had experienced heavy stomping from above the floor in a hotel. We generally liked the hotel and would stay here only if we get the 4th floor.

The good: The hotel is just 13mins drive from the LAX airport; 12 mins' drive from the Manhattan Beach area, so it is a great place to stop by for someone who has a few days to see LA. There are shopping centers and good restaurants within 8 to 5 mins' walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is spacious and has clean sheets, a clean bathroom, and all basic amenities like a short-stay apartment and a spotless mini kitchen with all utensils for a quick cook if needed. The staff at reception, the manager, and the housekeeping were all personable and ready to help.
