The bathroom facilities were inadequate for the number of people staying. The bathroom was all in one. No separate toilet. They said there were other toilets somewhere else. We tried all the keys and couldn’t find them. The exterior needs some maintenance.

There is only one set of bathroom for 20 people. The locks are not automatically as I woke up in the middle of night with an unlocked door to the outside. Note anyone could walk in. The kitchen has limited supplies.

Parking is a bit to the side, but mostly the place does not have any nice vibe. It just does not feel like a cool place to stay, rather a depressive house with the hostel function stuffed into it. It's OK to stay, but I've only seen better places on my two weeks long trip.

We were 4 guests and only received 2 towels. After asking for 2 more towels, extra fees were demanded. Each towel costs 5$ extra. No toiletries provided.

Bit of an odd place. Stayed in the private room and it was in a separate building on the other side of the road. Was basically a house with bedrooms, kitchen and a shared bathroom.

Not too far from the park. We used it as a pitstop between camping in Yosemite and Tahoe to have a shower, a good nights sleep and a hot meal in town.

There is an outside generator of the next door neighbor that is very loud and they were an electrical cut for the last night. Both out of the hostel control

The outside of the building and the outside area were not in good shape and looked to have foregone maintenance for the past few years. It is a quite expensive place for just a bed, kitchen, and bathroom.

The room and shared facilities were very clean and cleaned daily. Staff was helpful and friendly and Groveland is a nice little town for an evening. Try the saloon. It is conveniently located to get to Yosemite Valley to beat the crowds.

Location is great, 1h drive from hetchy hetchy and just some mins walk to the restaurants in Groveland. You mainly pay for the location and demand > supply.

Bed was terrible. Walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the next room. Only one indoor bathroom and there was a second toilet outside the building.

At night the place is very very dark. Not flexible. Considering that we wanted to be at Yosemite park at 4PM, we wanted to the checkout earlier, but it was not possible. At the same time, we understand that there might not be rooms available, but apparently, it was not the case. Everything is just enough. Nothing is great. Is nothing more than a place to sleep, leave your things and take a shower.

Considering that we did a roadtrip in California and we came in by car via Las Vegas, the localization was one of the best that we could find (we wanted to go all the way in Yosemite, leave the luggage in Groveland and then go back). For that, it was awesome. Other than that, the place is just what you need to rest and leave your things. It's a room with shared bathroom in a huge old house.
