Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThere was a leak in the bathroom each day so that seems to be a maintenance problem. The restaurant downstairs whilst ok has quite a limited menu with no healthy options on it whatsoever - so I ended up using a health bowl food place over the street most of the time instead. Also as the beds are in boxes, if someone snores (a regular problem in hostels) then the sound will be amplified as they are in a box. This was really annoying - especially if you have someone sounding like a wild pig each night which happened to me
The beds are very comfortable and you get privacy with the curtain at the front of your box if you stay in the capsule hotel section of the dorm. The Wi-Fi is excellent also and whilst the breakfast is small, it’s good given that it is included. Good sized lockers by each bed also.

South AfricaBeing in a room with strangers, requested to be moved however we were unfortunate because the place was fully booked. Being reprimanded because the other guys were complaining of a noise and not given a chance to share our side of the story.
What I liked was the fact that it is situated closer to the amenities. There's security everywhere in the CBD. Some of the staff members were friendly,and this one guy has a chip on his shoulders, and has no way to talk to people.

South AfricaThe room didn't have the wardrobes, there's burglar like doors under the bed that needed locks and wasn't easy to close. And the rude young lady at the restaurant who claimed that she didn't know the checkout time and said that there were no pancakes, but they were given to someone during breakfast.
The place is not noisy, hotel staff were understanding, we had a late return flight, they kept our luggage safe till we left. The place is safe, next to food outlets.

South AfricaGuest eating in the pods, spraying their perfumes in the room and their fumes getting into the not-ventilated pods and suffocating those who are still sleeping. Guests not cleaning after themselves after using the restrooms. Guests talking load either with each other or on the phone without using ear/headphones. Guests slamming their locker doors and checking in in the middle of the night while you are sleeping and you get woken up by the opening and closing of their luggage zips, their going up and down and late showering. Eish, it's a lot. The restaurant music playing loud the moment the restaurant opens in the morning and until it closes at night. Guests smoking in the courtyard or in front of the entrance door. If you want your peace and quiet as well as your nightly beauty sleep, give this place a miss. Some of the kitchen staff are not the friendliest of people. You feel like you are bothering them when you have concerns with the order and you are made to feel like you are actually being made a favour when you receive your order.
The helpfulness of most of the front desk staff, especially Reuben and Lukhanyo. They go out of their way to look after the guests and the establishment itself. They are not only frontdesk champions, but also maintenance guys. When things fall apart, they are the first to fix them.
