We wee apprehensive about spiders but it is what it is but we didn’t see any

Location is great and really feels like you are on a reserve. Stumbled across giraffes just down the road. The organised safari with Theo was brilliant although didn’t see all we wanted but it’s always luck on the day. Still loved the trip

The host, Sander, was amazing. Greeting us at our car once we arrived. He also sat down with us, and we had a lovely conversation. The pool was clean and well maintained. The food was great. Our room was neat and tidy. (You would have guessed that you were in the bush)

The small, coziness of the place - not too many guests. The property owners were extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and well stocked - bathrobe, nice towels, nice chairs, nice shower stall. We loved that we could walk through the wooded area just near the lodge. Last but not least the food was phenomenal !!!

Toilets shower smells bad, shower drain blocked, bed base made of concrete hurts your legs, bathroom makes the whole room smell bad. No hot water for the basins and the bath tub.

The food was nice and sander has a good sense of humour,the place is exquisite with a clean pool with wild animals roaming around, so peaceful and a great value for money,I would like to visit them again in the near future

Our patio wasn't exactly private, we could sit on our patio and literally see and talk to our neighbors, putting up those wood things that are on the roof on the side of the patio at the entrance would essentially make it more private. We would also have new guests walking past our patio to go to their rooms. We also had water in a glass bottle in the room that wasn't changed for days so had to fill our kettle in the basin. We know it wasn't changed as we had the same bug for days in our water and it started growing stuff.

The breakfast was really amazing, the team really catered to pretty much anything we were feeling like that morning, and the breakfast always tasted delicious. The bar was also really great and came in handy a few times. Sander, Juliet and team were amazing hosts on our stay. It was also nice being able to see wild animals right in front of your room, being able to cycle and walk through the nature reserve or even take a drive by yourself without a guide as you a provided with a map.

This is strictly a matter of personal preference. With only one sliding door for light we found the room too dark o enjoy and so many beautiful art pieces we had little room to place our luggage.

Staff couldn’t have been nicer. We were even able to arrange to have our rental car washed before returning it the following day. Lovely surroundings, beautiful artwork, delicious and substantial breakfast.

Too many dark colours - walls, slate floors, furniture, African masks, towels.

the room seem smaller than what showed on pics and pool as well.

the room was very clean and well arranged and the stuff was very friendly and welcoming. we went out for a swim and found our bed beddings done which was so sweet of the stuff.
