Unfortunately, our room was the first room and it lacked a bit of privacy.

Breakfast was included with the room and it was nice. The restaurant staff were exceptional and ready to help before even being asked. The receptionist and cleaning staff went beyond their duties and everyone made it their duty to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Staff very friendly and welcoming. All the facilities one needs and wants. The room opening onto the tropical garden was like being in a forest.

The rooms and views are amazing, whether sea or forest facing. The food is superb. Entertainment and facilities outstanding. The personnel are top notch, they assisted with the smallest request with a big smile and a chat. Excellent establishment and staff!

The breakfasts were a little lacking for a 4 star hotel. Must say that the limited buffet was great quality. Cappuccino’s part of the deal.

Unique feel at this hotel. Even though we never had a sea view we were transported to Bali! Rooms are lavish and spacious. Restaurant is tops.

The placement of the pool by the restuarant/bar area that is accessible to the public isn't ideal. A separate facility for hotel guests would be great, to allow for relaxation for whatever desired periods; without the fullness of people and the overall noise levels of outside patrons.

The hotel is well located and absolutely gorgeous, while its size also makes it fairly private and serene. The restaurant staff and menu were pristine (I had the daily breakfast and dinner, twice and was satisfied) - I would go back again and again just for that part alone. The curated entertainment by the pool makes for a great addition as well.

Leaky roof in Restaurant.

The rooms are huge. They are modern. The beds are king size plus plus. The staff is very friendly. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The decor is very schiek.

The noise over the weekends due to the bar area being a local watering hole for Ballito resident can be slight annoying sometimes.

The stay at Coco De Mar was superb . From the warm hospitality of the staff to the cleanliness of the restaurant and pool area was magnificent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, Fabien has done an excellent job in that regard. The overall experience was fantastic, a truly world-class gem in the heart of Ballito on Compensation Rd. This is the prime-time boutique hotel in Ballito to stay at.

The pool, it just felt like it's a kiddies pool or a just put your feet pool.

I liked the spa the massage was worth the money, I liked their sea food pizza and the breakfast buffet was good and oh their Sushi too👌. Their hospitality was exceptional from us arriving early before our check in time.
