We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Situated In the middle of this historic SA town , the hotel has been around for a long time , lovely old building and our room was exceptional . This is a stunning property with gorgeous fittings and fixtures. We stopped off on a drive to the Cape. The fact that our dog was welcome at such a plush property blew me away. The kibble in a Le Creuset was almost too much! Staff were attentive and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant.

South AfricaThe Wi-Fi was poor in strength. We were at the hotel for 2 nights, and toilet did not work twice during our stay, initially on arrival. Our 'electronic' door card was not working, and our room was not made up when we returned from our excursions on the second day. Also chasing down our key was at times challenging.
Its a great hotel and stop over. Staff are great, dining experience pleasant and alround good feel.

All was very good. Only complaint was that our room was probably the furthest from reception and the Dining area. (Room 1401) For a 79 year old this meant it was quite a long walk every time we went for meals. Also, it was right on the road with the bathroom/toilet window facing the street (pavement) so I was woken up a few times by trucks coming past who didn't use the Main Road to enter Graaff Reinet. Maybe not really worth grumbling about but something to consider for older guests.
