A beautiful place right at the doorstep of Addo Elephant park. The hosts were extremely friendly. The rooms were nice and spacious. Would recommend this to everyone!

The food at the near by restaurant called A taste of Africa was very disappointing. The only thing we enjoyed was the chicken strips. The vegetables & Pork ribs were a complete mess.

Everything about our stay at the Lodge was Superb. The staff was very warm & went all out to make us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast was fresh and very delicious. The dinner was top notch👌. Their green salad was super fresh & out of this world. Most people don't always get the green salad right but the awesome Chef deserves 10/10 for our dinner.

Managers were exceptionally friendly and room was clean and inviting. Unfortunately had only one nights stay and because of covid restrictions could not have dinner. However, breakfast was served and was fit for a King. We had to stay on a little while after checkout for online meetings and managers were extremely accommodating, making sure we had all we needed to keep us comfortable.

Excellent service from the two hosts. Super friendly and welcoming. Even during this current level 4 lockdown, did they arrange a smooth and comfortable experience, going out of their way. Definitely went the extra mile.

Personally I didn't like the fact that there's no window in the toilet enclosure. The breakfast fell below my expectations for a 4* establishment.

The manager working here John and his wife, are amazing!! It felt like a home from home, the most caring and kind service! They arranged my trip to Addo and had the best time! The outdoor shower is super and the breakfast is fantastic! Loved it here!!

The food was not good, and very overpriced. If I were to stay here again, I would not be eating in the restaurant, I’d rather drive 30km to the nearest restaurant.

Lovely property with spacious rooms. Rooms are decorated beautifully and a pleasure to stay in. Location to Addo was also fantastic.

For the warm breakfast, some more vegetarian/vegan options would've been nice for those who didn't eat eggs, bacon and sausages.

Seamless arrival. Good recommendation for restaurant. Rooms well equipped. Unfortunately arrived with Load-shedding stage 6 just instituted.

Room was not cosy at all, aircon remote was removed, no gas heater or attempt to make it warmer in winter time! Bedding was clean but "old" and washed out. The common area was also very cold, we know it was winter, but for a 4 star guesthouse we expected more value for money. At least a heater etc. If we compare this to other 4 star guesthouses we visited, it is not making the cut. Sorry. We are not going to mention the dinner or the breakfast.

Room is spacious and well equipped. Dinner was absolutely delicious and large portions. Breakfast was also good and a variety of cereals, rusks and cook breakfast. Filter coffee and a variety of teas.

The breakfast is quite basic. The pool area is not that inviting (bones as decoration and water was a bit cloudy). The room could use some refurbishments in the bathroom area (sink & toilet).

The staff and the dinner was excellent, dietry plans have been considered as well. Ideal location for a trip to Addo. Generator available for loadshedding. Gated parking. Outdoor shower.

Caters mostly for tourists, waterfall tap by the shower is cute but zero water saving especially for a water scarce area, no Aircon, no generator, no inverters, splash pool was dirty, moving through in and out of the entrance gate very tight and scary especially if you drive a big car.

Location, food and accommodation was nice.

The beds in our room were very uncomfortable and sagging in from aging. The staff couldn't offer us any bottled water upon request and no insect killer. It was rather disappointing for a 4 star accommodation. The breakfast mix was also limited; I was expecting at least some cheese and cold meats for people not fond of the English breakfast.

The establishment is in a nice location, close to the Addo National Park gate and also close to the beach.
