The bedroom was interleading with other guests-doors locked obviously. But absolutely nothing you can do to down out the sound of other people are loud. We wanted a room specifically with a fire place, only to arrive and be told the fireplaces are being serviced. I think it should be mentioned before and definitely interleading rooms should be to. I would rather opt for a different room or stay at another place in the Midlands. We love Granny Mouse this just wasn't our best stay.

there’s a special atmosphere around Granny Mouse. the thatched roof cottages and the lush garden. the interior of the rooms and lounge is very tasteful. the menu of the bistro restaurant had enough choice for everyone. The standards for staff either restaurant, bar, reception or housekeeping and their services is very high. the music choice (“MTV”-like) didn’t fit with the atmosphere and was a pity, but when we asked to lower it down they did that immediately.

We had massages and were a bit disappointed, we expected them to be much better.

Awesome location. Very cosy and quaint, peaceful. Super comfy beds. Love the feeling of the place, it's like real mouse houses! Riverwalk trail is great, love the huge open field below. Staff were friendly and warm.

The room was not properly clean - lots of spider webs on the ceiling and on the patio furniture. The restaurant did not have most of the menu items on the Sunday, which was disapointing.

Outside paintwork etc needs a little TLC. the staircase could have been swept and washed prior to guests arriving - we haf overseas guests with us.

We did not book a quiet room, only that our rooms were adjacent. The family room was very close to the others. Our evening meal was very good and breakfast was also a great variety of choice. Another time, if it was just the 2 of us visiting, I would ask for a ground floor room. It is very rare that guests have a bar fridge with stock that was all complimentary.

After our first night, unfortunately not all room amenities were restocked. I had to call reception to sort this out. Slides of Salami served with breakfast still have its plastic around it. Be careful as to not eat this. I did report this to the duty manager during our first breakfast, however the following day it was still the same

The rooms are abit dated and could definitely do with a veramp. Keeping the same esthetic but making it more luxurious. The breakfast options are limited and very basic, this can be improved.

I loved the location, the views, the staff who really go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable , and the dinning options. There's always something magical about a stay in the midlands.

Some of the general areas need a refresh - albeit many are currently in progress. Service needs to be a bit sharper and needs a bit of attention.

Excellent breakfast, albeit service a touch on the relaxed side. The property is well located and the upgrades are starting to take shape. The Bistro is very well set out and nicely updated.

The staff were friendly and helpful and provided great service. The food was delicious (including the breakfast). I liked the thoughtful gestures like providing weather cards to guests! Overall Granny Mouse is a perfect getaway for relaxation.

Eaves Restaurant. We were 7 adults celebrating a 70th birthday, and chose Granny Mouse for the fine dining restaurant. We were all deeply disappointed and will not return. The food was cold, overcooked and the younger members of the party could have followed it with a burger and chips! I have since talked to friends who live in the area, and they say had they known we were staying with you and dining at Eaves Restaurant, they would have suggested another venue.

Breakfast was very good and the room was lovely. Please thank Thando for sorting out the difficulties with our booking. She was efficient and charming when I was panicking!
