The beds two single beds together was the worse. My wife was most of the night on my side of the bed. After she complained about her neck and back. The wifi connection was bad. The TV didn't work no connection. The was switch where we could switch the light off by the bed side of the head board . We left early morning because my wife was complaining about the bed to much.

The pictures on booking.com are deceiving. Facility is not being maintained. There is no security. We were robbed while inside the room.

We booked the accommodation last minute whilst on the road. On arrival we were Informed that there had been no electricity the whole day. As my daughter is petrified of the dark, we had to find alternate accommodation. The establishment refused to refund us even after I had sent an email explaining our predicament, citing that our booking was non refundable.

These are the things I disliked: 1. The heater was not working well so it took a long time for the room to get warm. 2. I had to have a cold to warm shower two mornings in a row. I understand that loadshedding can be an inconvenience but a hot shower is essential in Strand during Autunm and Winter months.

These are the things I liked: 1. The staff are friendly. 2. The guest house is in a good and safe location. 3 Breakfast was good. I appreciated that I could eat either at the area designated for eating or in my room.

Wow what a nice surprise! Lovely room, courtyard for chilling with pool & so close to the beach! The big plus was the availability of the odd rusk, fruit & an excellent breakfast..... & Amanda's hospitality & welcome!

one thing i didn't like is that the Amanda lady who is a manager there was very rude to us,she even shouted us that we make noise,and threatened us to leave before our check time,other than that it was cool

i liked everything about the guest house was very beautiful,and i enjoyed to stay there the room were very neat and clean ,and the ladies who were cleaning there where friendly i wish i could come again

We liked nothing

Noting. As Indicated to the host yesterday we were very dissatisfied with our booking and room in general. Firstly the type of room that was allocated was not the one we saw listed on the website. There were stains and you could still smell sigarette smoke and wet ash. In the shower were used soap and although we gave them enough time before we checked in they were still not finished when we arrived. My kids immediately started coughing and we had no choice but to check out almost immediately. This is really not how we planned on spending our evening and we drove afterwards for hours trying to find a decent place to sleep for the evening. I trust this issue is worth following up on. With the above in mind we ask that we should be refunded as soon as possible as the conditions as set out we're not conducive, healthy and pleasant for us as a family.

We did not have any breakfast was told there was none.( still a bit confused about the bed and breakfast ?) The bathroom had a mirror that was for tall people only! No other mirror in the room. Shower sprayed over the floor to the toilet and we had one bath mat that become sodden and very difficult to dry over 5 day stay. Noisy as room separated by a thin door to next apartment, one could clearly hear neighbours . Apartment right on road, noisy.

Short walk to lovely beach and restaurants. Bed was comfy, but could do with another pillow as shown on pictures. Apartment was clean.

We booked a self catering unit. Unit 2 was allocated. On booking, nowhere it was stated that the self catering units ARE NOT A PART OF THE GUESTHOUSE. These units are down the road from the guesthouse, separate premises, unsafe and not kept properly. The advertised photos are not the real thing, it looks totally different. We booked for 3 guests, only received 2 towels, no toilet paper and one of the bedside lamps didn't work. Also, the basin in the bathroom is so small, you can't even wash your face without dripping all over the bathroom. You have to use the shower to wash your face. Dirty outside with terrible neighbours in a block of flats. Luckily I didn't need to use the oven, because it was terribly dirty. Not a very pleasant experience, although the main guesthouse looks quite nice....
