Consider adding elevated swimming pools (high enough for animals not to dive in, a pool would be nice in-front of the chalets/doors.

Should have stayed longer.

Location was great and facilites were amazing for a property in the bush. The property is situated in a conservation zone where animals roam freely. Definitely a 5 star. When i read the ratings regarding this property, i was a bit skeptical; however, much to my surprise, i was amazed with the full package, great room, great view of the bush, great animal sighting right outside our room, excellent breakfast and last but not least, great hosts.

This was a great start to our tour of the Limpopo area. Easily accessible from the airport and well placed for all of the Hoedspruit activities (particulalry the Blythe River tour).

Breakfast was excellent. Delicious freshly cut fruit and yoghurt and a cooked meal to die for. Totally yummy.

Not a thing!

We loved the location which is set in a wildlife preserve. The lodge has six separate buildings for guests. They are quite large with comfortable beds and a nice seating area and a separate bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is an AC unit in the main room and the bedroom! You will see wildlife on the property and there is a viewing tower to spot animals on the estate and beyond. The owners are very kind and welcoming. You can tell they take great pride in this wonderful place. They also serve up a super good breakfast each morning. We had a terrific all around stay.

There was a power outage and the room got hot but that was out of their control.

This place is just wonderfully placed with wonderful hosts. Ann and Marlon were fantastic. Their personal approach to making our stay enjoyable was very refreshing and made for a memorable stay. Great people. Great tips for us during our stay. Starting with our wonderful walk led to us meeting a family or giraffe on our first outing of our one night stay. Ann had told us to take a stroll through the afternoon into the reserve. We saw so much wildlife. Mummy and Daddy Giraffe with babies had to top it though. Then breakfast was wonderful with a visit from the biggest Pumba (hog) we have seen on our trip passing by whilst we enjoyed French toast. Which was the best we’d had during our trip. Great chats with Marlon. A special place indeed. We only wished we’d booked more than one nights stay. When we return we certainly will do. My top tip here is do a few nights to enjoy!

What a lovely place - spacious rooms with lots of attention to the little details, e.g. beautiful photography on the walls, an outdoor shower, and a wonderful garden / pool area to relax. The beds are very comfy, and everything is nice and clean. If you want peace and quiet, this place is ideal. The breakfast was delicious as well. There is lots to see and do in the area. The Wildlife Estate is perfect for spotting all kinds of antelopes - sometimes even from the comfort of your own bed. We actually got better views of Giraffes, Kudu, Nyala, and Warthog at the Estate than at Kruger. And lastly, just amazing hosts. Marlon and Ann made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to make sure we had a stay that we will always remember. Thank you! We would love to come back :)
