The roads are not paved and we didn't know this before booking so it was difficult anytime we wanted to come or go.

The food was quite good, very accurate to the local food. The manager of the lodge was very sweet and helpful with regard to recommendations on where to eat as well as activities we should try. The lodge is quite removed from any major cities so there is no noise, and seeing the animals up close was amazing, highly recommend it.

The shower water was cold, I assume it was loadshedding. It would be nice if they changed the mosquito cloth around the bed. It was torn.

The rooms were beautiful and intimate, a true reflection of what is advertised.

It is not suitable to go in and out of Kruger Park every day

It is a beautiful place and so friendly people. It is in the middle of a smaller national park and a pumpy road get you to this adventurous and magical place. You will already experience wild life and it is a good stop before Kruger Park.

Inconsiderate (noisy) guests on our first day but the lodge management attended to this very promptly and in a professional manner.

Interaction with the friendly staff and accommodation being nestled amongst the trees. Irene and Charmaine were also excellent hosts and made sure we were well looked after .

The breakfast was amazing and the dinner was also amazing. We loved the rooms and the views of the bush from the rooms. We saw giraffes, buffalos and many other wild animals around the property. What a beautiful experience!

The road leading to the place is gravel and not well maintained, Parking arrangements. Our room was not clean to the core, we found a sock under the bed. Towels not changed.

The place is homely, with few touchups, it can be excellent.

It was raining when we checked in, so the gravel road leading to the lodge was wet, slippery and it was a mission to get to the lodge. The booking came with breakfast and dinner & the dinner on the second night was horrendous. They need to hire a professional chef to do their cooking. We only ate because shops and other restaurants were too far and the road was not in the best condition for us to drive at night.

The property was like a rain forest. I loved being surrounded by trees. It felt like I was somewhere in Bali. The staff were super friendly and made our stay comfortable.

The cleanest thatched roof lodge I have ever been to. There was not a single cobweb anywhere inside our room. The mosquito net also gave us added comfort to sleep. The food was hearty and delicious. The managers and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Accommodation was excellent. Cabin catered for privacy, comfortable beds & linen. Food was delicious & they accommodated me with vegetarian meals. Location tranquil but best of all was the staff, host Irene & adorable dog Leah. Staff does a brillant job taking care of the guests. Irene goes especially out of her way to book your activities. Really enjoyed the stay!!!!! Would highly recommend Panzi Lodge !!!!!!

Loadshedding! Urgh! The struggle is real BUT it had me in bed early TO REST and that was my actual reason for getting away! It would be great if wifi could be on an inverter as there is absolutely zero signal when power is off.

The staff are amazing! Irene is the perfect manager for this set up. Felt like home and eating and chatting with family and friends! The units are perfect! Food was delicious! Lea the spaniel. Oh my soul. What a bonus! She truly is the highlight, sorry humans!

Power outages in South Africa is a problem. Panzi Lodge is busy acquiring batteries so they should soon be back to full power 24/7. In the meantime, you have to play around the outage schedule.

Everything was very good, breakfast is very generous and tasty. 3 course meals every evening, again, very generous portions. Very warm and welcoming personnel, helpful on indicating possible activities around. Monkeys and antelopes roaming around, which was great attraction for kids.

The staff are very accommodating. The location is also wonderful - a proper break away in nature and surrounded by trees and bush. The viewing point had a new surprise for us every time we went there. We were also able to get massages on the deck of our room in the shade. The outside shower is also a fun part of the experience.

Location is good - many options available for day trips, if you want to go exploring, but the lodge itself offers enough to just relax. Nature at your doorstep - good views, amazing place to stargaze, birds waking you up. Very friendly staff and good food! Incredible experience - recommned visiting Panzi Lodge.
