The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Letitia went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The cozy winter fire place was a nice bonus.

It would have been better if the property had had an alternate power source during load shedding so that we could make tea in our room, and so that we could take a shower with hot water.

This is a lovely, boutique-style hotel with beautiful gardens of flowers, plants and bushes. It is very pretty. We find that the rooms are bright, modern and very comfortable. We stayed here for the first time in 2022, and wanted to come back this year because we liked it so much.

I understand that loadshedding is a real problem in South Africa...however, the guesthouse does not have warm water during loadshedding...which is not ideal. I would also recommend more battery operated lights in the room...especially for loadshedding during the evening or night.

The breakfast was really one of the best I ever had at a guesthouse! The staff is very friendly and help with anything. The guesthouse is centrally located and you can walk to any restaurant or shop in town. Rooms are neat and has everything you need with a well stocked mini bar.

The Staff were very friendly and could not be more helpful. An asset to their employer. Always willing to answer any query. The property was very well maintained and rooms were spotless. Although the plot was not huge, the gardens were lovely with lots of sitting areas. Breakfast was a mix of buffet and cooked to order -beautifully presented and lots of choice. Property situated near the Huguenot memorial and a short walk to the main street & the wine tram/bus stop. Couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend

We had a super stay at The Corner House! Would highly recommend! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pictures on Booking.com true to property. Great place. Breakfast was lovely with a buffet style offering plus cooked eggs and bacon. Location for Franschoek was perfect! We walked to and from restaurants without any bother or worry. Franschoek itself is a must visit. And stay at the Corner House for sure!

They didnt indicate stairs, and I was travelling with my 75 year old mother. Stairs were horrific at night. On arrival, took 10min own searching to find bedroom, no indicators. Walked around property several times, was frustrating and tiresome.

The floors in the bathroom were dirty. We had informed on late check in, but when we called from the airport to inform of our arrival the person working there informed us that she needed to leave early. This didn't make us feel very wellcome. Staff were nice, but on the second day, they only served the warm breakfast for one of the people at the table, the other breakfast never showed up.
