“The hotel is a wooden building in typical Norwegian style, standing on the shore of the Vågen bay. From the window of the room is a great view on the bay and parked sea ships. The room is furnished very elegantly and efficiently - comfort bed, spacious shower, toiletries, desk, ... you can enjoy sitting in leather armchairs at conference table and watching out the window with a cold drink (room is equipped with a small refrigerator). If you expect a larger company or a visit, you can use the hotel foyer and have a drink together. There are also served breakfast and dinner. Breakfast includes both continental classics, as well as typical Norwegian waffles, brown cheese ("brunost") and meatballs. Dinner is also included and is a great choice if it is raining and you do not want to go out on a warm cozy hotel. All the staff is extremely kind and willing and hotel is dog-friendly, so you can take your sweetheart with you :-)”

It was a great property to cook meals. Public transportation is right across the bridge from the house. There is also a lake across from the bridge, a great location to go walking with ducks and swans. We walked into town about 1.2 kilometers for the bus would have been $20 for the short drive for a family of 4. Everything we needed for cooking and making sandwiches was available in the kitchen. Parking is covered on the property. Bedding was nice, with towels (most of our trip we had to rent towels) and bedding was also nice.”
