We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant the first night of our stay. The menu is varied and the quality of the food was excellent. Breakfast was some Miso soup, teriyaki chicken and also a little buffet with bread, juice and water. The hotel staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location near the South Gate in Chiang Mai, where a big food market is located, is also perfect. You can walk there from the hotel. P.S.: I can't compare it to Ryoakan's in Japan as I've never been to Japan, so can't say how authentic it is.”

“I love this hotel, I intended to stay 4 days and I've been staying there for 2 weeks now. The staff are very helpful, especially Mr. Boom the manager. He upgraded my room to a great suite and he's really gone to a lot of effort to make my stay here comfortable. The rooms are spotless and well appointed and the hotel is well run. The housekeeping has been great about following instructions not to spray perfumes in my room (I'm allergic), which I appreciate. It's in a local area close to a fresh food market, and lots of local food stalls. I like this area because it's less hectic that the old city or the Nimman area and has more local flavor. There's a lot of nice long-term stayers here. The coin laundry on site is very useful also. I want to come back next year!”

Our hotel was on the first floor, it was big compared to other hotel rooms. Fresh towels were supplied every day. Toiletries; including toothbrushes, earbuds, mosquito repellent were provided. Breakfast was always great, the fruit smoothies were sooo good and we've tried so many different fruit. There's a nice small sized pool near reception/bfast area which gives more character to the friendly hotel. We did not have time to swim in the pool, however it always looked clean. On arrival we were given a welcome drink and the receptionist helped us organise our stay by booking most of the day tours we wanted to do and gave us a 10% discount on the original price. WIFI connection was good. We also had our laundry done twice as the hotel offered this service which was very convenient. Good AC. Thank you to all the lovely staff who've made our stay so pleasant. I miss to place, it really felt like home.”

“It was beyond our expectation. We had a really comfortable stay. The room was very spacious for two people. The bed is big and the bathroom is very clean too. The overall feel of the place is very nice, it instantly felt like home. Add the fact that it is just 5 mins walk from the night bazaar. Lots of places to see and eat around the area. What really won us over is the hospitality of the owners. They really went out of their way to ensure that we will be able to maximize our stay in Chiangmai with the little time we have. We asked for tips and they even suggested an alternative itinerary when what we originally planned didn't work out. They even dropped us off in the old city using their car. The next day they woke up early to give us a ride to Doi Suthep and the waterfall for a very minimal fee. Friendly tip, it is best to go early to Doi Suthep and the waterfalls as you dont have to pay entrance fee. The key is to wake up really early. He even allowed us to tag along with him in the local market. All this for only a fraction of the price if you'll stay in other hostels or hotels in the area. What can I say, all we have are really wonderful memories! We just can't thank them enough. I even recommended to my friends to stay and they too had a wonderful experience. :)”
