The whole holiday was perfect, we got the warmest of welcomes when we arrived, the location and surrounding countryside was beautiful. The pod was cosy and spotlessly clean with all ameneties to hand. We would definitely recommend. Morthana Farm as a Must visit holiday venue and we will definitely be visiting again

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.Sit and watch a sunset, with sheep & horses grazing nearby set in a backdrop of engine houses and the magnificent Carn Brea Castle.This wonderful gem is located approx 2.5 miles from the popular 'blue flag' beach of Porthtowan and under 5 miles from Portreath Beach & Harbour.We are situated on The Mineral Tramway Cycle Path that runs from Portreath to Devoran; providing superb cycling,walking,or off road horseriding. Morthana has something for all. Please call to discuss your dog before booking accommodation as there is a fee. Your dog is welcome, but cannot be left in the accommodation unattended although there is doggy sitting subject to availability in case you want a romantic day/evening without your four legged friend!
I live onsite with my dogs, horses and sheep. I look forward to welcoming you to beautiful Cornwall.x I live on the farm , so it is easy to find me! Am happy to share info with you and if you are a guest bringing your horse i can take you out on a hack if i am free. My dogs are very friendly and take hosting very seriously, so please do not choose Morthana unless you like dog visitors , hand feeding the sheep (if you wish ) and patting the horses. Your dog can come with you BUT only with prior arrangement with me before you book as they have to be very friendly . There is a fee if your dog comes too.
On cycling tramway,amidst mining engine houses and near the beach , whilst being very close to the main A30 to explore the beauty of Cornwall. Adjacent to a country farm shop and the famous Rodda's Clotted Cream premises. Situated on a smallholding with an allocated parking space. Local beaches all have car parks etc. There is a local bus route , but this is quite sporadic at times! We are in Cornwall!
