Our home is at: Rua Elias Garcia 65, 1-esq, (Dai), Cacilhas, Almada Double or twin room All guests MUST show a national ID card or passport at check-in, for registration. It only takes a few minutes. We will do everything for you PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY GUESTS WHO ARE REGISTERED TO STAY HERE, MAY ENTER THE GUEST ROOMS. THIS IS FOR OUR SECURITY AND BECAUSE OF SEVERAL BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST We have 2 rooms. They are bright and clean with many shelves and storage for your things. You need to cross over the river from Cais do Sodre metro Station in Lisbon city centre, takes 9 minutes and ferries run every few minutes. Cost is 1.40 euros. It is very scenic. And you will need to walk up the hill for 8 to 12 minutes PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SHOWER CUBICLE IN THE ENSUITE ROOM IS SMALL AND NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY OBESE PEOPLE. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE TVS IN OUR ROOMS. OBSERVE QUE A CABINE DO DUCHE É PEQUENA E NÃO ADEQUADA PARA PESSOAS MUITO OBESAS Nossos quartos NÃO têm TV Our twin room has excellent 5G Wi-Fi and is usually highly reliable. Our ensuite double room with small private bathroom has 5G Wifi but we do not guarantee the internet speed for digital nomads and remote workers in this room. It is fine for tourists and other visitors.

Our rooms are super clean, comfortable and great value. They are not in the city centre but you need to cross the river from Lisbon City Centre (9 minutes) and then walk up to my home in 8 to 12 minutes. You will love the very scenic ferry crossing and the dramatic views from nearby my home. Ferries every few minutes and the cost is 1.40 euros. Take 9 minutes. There is free street parking outside. We can show you where to eat very cheaply in this area. We have table fans in all rooms. Please be friendly and considerate and read our listing details properly so you know everything. O banheiro é sempre super limpo e quase sempre disponível instantaneamente quando você precisa. This is an old, typically Portuguese neighbourhood, across the river from Lisbon City Centre. Near our home is very scenic. My home is on the road going to the famous Cristo Rei monument. Don't miss that. Also don't miss the free panoramic elevator, Visit the fabulous old wooden warship and submarine. Visit incredible Caparica Beach for 17 km of sand and surfing. 2 or 3 minutes walk from our home are bars, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and bakeries. Don't expect huge crowds of tourists this side of the river. But do expect lower prices and great local food. Down the hill you will have a huge choice of bars, restaurants, fish & seafood places, sometimes with music and dancing in the streets. This is not a smart, green residential area but a typical old Portuguese city area. It is very safe here to walk alone at night. We do not have a pickpocketing problem this side of the river. Its a major problem on the other side, in the centre. Nossos quartos NÃO têm TV
